  1. Has anyone heard anything if you ordered direct from PMT? Do they even send out shipping confirmations
  2. I've been waiting way too long for an Under The Influence Of Giants pressing on yellow or blue vinyl
  3. I generally try to avoid live LPs and I don't listen to them very much by that Dead Leaves snippet might win me over, the early arrangements of some of their songs have my intrigued
  4. Pretty much as expensive as the original pressing with shipping. Gonna hold off and see if it pops up anywhere else.
  5. I'm in the same boat. I've only played it a few times since it came out and I just realized that. Up until now it was one of the releases I was most excited for. I don't think Battle Born was a misstep either, I absolutely loved that album.
  6. Pretty bare-bones packaging for $25 but I'm just happy to haven new music from them. No dl card, no insert, but it is a gatefold.
  7. They have to make it pretty enticing to keep people from swapping. I'd imagine there's a fairly large overlap in people who will want to have that SV album when it comes out, or who have already pre-ordered it.
  8. Yeah, I signed up for Vault 33, cancelled the subscription the same day, and am still getting that vault and the benefits until September 29 or something, whenever 3 months from when I ordered was. I just didn't want to forget to cancel later
  9. You can just buy it and cancel right away while still keeping the benefits and access to the member store. That's what I did and have been able to buy from the vault store
  10. It's down to $18.29 on Amazon. Cheapest it's been so far but I'm sure it'll dip lower http://amzn.to/2gZ2sJa
  11. What does everyone think of this one? She channels a bit of Kesha on this one, which I can dig, but the chorus is a little dry.
  12. There's no way Brandon would let the band die after Wonderful Wonderful most likely getting the best reviews they've had since Hot Fuss or Sam's Town.
  13. Just a heads up if you've never bought through their store before you can sign up, and they'll send you an email for 15% off, which works on the PD pre-order
  14. The cheapest shipping option I get for the pink is like $10 for priority. Is everyone else just paying that or should there be a cheaper option.
  15. So Darren, their drummer, left the band. I'm not sure how they'll continue after the tour. He's probably the best part of their live show and is one of those band members you can't just replace
  16. They just completely cancelled mine a week ago or so after saying the release date got moved back indefinitely. Bull Moose took the pre-order off their site as well
  17. http://amzn.to/2scA4HD There's a live LP up on Amazon that I don't think has been announced yet. At least I haven't seen anything on it
  18. The new album is finally down to a more decent price on Amazon http://amzn.to/2pUtmSb
  19. I've been looking for that Iron & Wine 12" for somewhere close to cost. I'm surprised it sold out so quick
  20. https://summerspins.wordpress.com/2017/05/02/bnqt-volume-1-vinyl-album-review/ I reviewed the Record Store Day pressing. It's not anything groundbreaking but is definitely worth checking out for anyone who's a fan of any of the members. Bridwell has a standout track with "Tara" and it's good to hear Kapranos again
  21. https://summerspins.wordpress.com/2017/04/13/father-john-misty-pure-comedy-vinyl-album-review/ Here's my review of the standard edition of the album. I wasn't too thrilled with it on the first few listens and I would rarely listen to it outside of the record player but the 75 minutes flys by every time. It somehow doesn't feel bloated to me
  22. Got mine in a few days early and just finished up a review of the album along with photos of the white vinyl pressing. Overall this one is a grower for me, I wasn't impressed at all on the first listen aside from a few tracks like "North Star" and "Beauty of the Road" but I listened to it 3 times today. The lyrics are really some of the best stuff he's written. https://summerspins.wordpress.com/2017/04/07/future-islands-the-far-field-vinyl-album-review/
  23. Here's my thoughts on the album and a review of the vinyl edition along with pictures of the packaging, if anyone's interested. I don't know if there's any hot takes as it's not an album you can look at critically but I put some time into writing this one. https://summerspins.wordpress.com/2017/04/06/mount-eerie-a-crow-looked-at-me-vinyl-album-review/
  24. https://summerspins.wordpress.com/2017/03/31/the-xx-i-see-you-vinyl-album-review/ It's pretty late but I reviewed the clear pressing of the album. It's grown on me a lot over the last few months.
