I got one extra copy up for grabs at cost + shipping. I bought 3 and total came to $106 shipped so it's $32 + how much it'll actually cost me to ship it.

Just reporting back that I did receive my replacement A/B. Sounds great.

Except they aren't doing that. They're repressing the same albums in intentionally small numbers to capitalize on a manufactured sense of collectibility. Miss out on the previous 9 presses of ADTR? Get this new one but hurry cause it's limited to 203.
 
I don't know shit about running a label, but I would imagine when deciding how many of something you want to press you shoot for a number that will sell in a reasonable amount of time. So when Relapse does an 8th pressing of Mastodon you do a couple thousand. Whereas if you're Topshelf you're pressing some niche artists so you only do a few hundred and then a few hundred more when you sell out.
 
Victory knows ADTR and BTBAM will sell quickly and they could easily produce 500-1000 of each album and move it. But they want to capitalize on the shittiest aspects of THE HOBBY so they keep churning out these same albums over and over. They're riding the last gravy train they have left because no one gives a fuck about their current roster (other than Counterparts). So rather than focus on being a reputable label putting out good music they want to slowly scrape up what's left of their glory years. Maybe if they put enough limited variants they squeeze a few extra bucks out of the completionists.

Got my 10 records today. Two mailers inside a larger box. Everything was in great shape. Came 2-day priority even though I just paid the basic rate. These people are the fucking bomb.

After reading some of the other responses, maybe I'm crazy. I expect my records to arrive in perfect condition. If a label can't figure out how to mail stuff without it getting damaged, I stop ordering from them.
I don't expect anything I order online to arrive damaged. Not sure why one would expect less just because it's vinyl.
When my records get damaged, I want it to be from me drunkenly mishandling them not some jerk I don't know!

I don't think I'm the only one who has posted irrelevant stuff in here.  Even when I post about Blink-182 it seems to be frowned upon.  Just let me know what I'm supposed to post I guess since I don't want to receive a warning, or make people hate Joe Pesci, or waste anyone's time like no one else here has done.  
 
Did the wooden boxes for the splatter series ever come to fruition?  I didn't contribute to the making of them or anything, but if they did I'd love to see the finished product as it was a cool idea.

How do they get the music on to them anyway? It must be a physical process. Do they just iron the mp3s into the surface? It looks like there are little routes like tree-trunk lines through mine so I guess the mp3s live in there.

Reinsert earplugs as closely to factory-standard as possible to preserve the market value of ears.
Return to browsing Vinyl Collective to purchase more rare vinyuls.
