I have the OG splatter. the packaging and artwork is superb, they spared no expense. the vinyl is 180g thick, or at least feels like it, and the audio quality is amazing. fwiw

I agree with most of the above statement - however, the Aktimates, while great for near field use, are traditional speakers in every sense of the word and sound tremendous for their price point.

20 bucks shipped is more than reasonable if you factor in the amount of money this guy spent in gas, parking, travel time to go to the mall(which apparently none of you are willing to do), packing it for shipping and then sending it out from the post office. his time is just as valuable as yours, I presume. best of luck to OP for the sale and thanks for helping out the board.

have you considered just making a custom sleeve without the laser cut outs? I think a large reason why everyone loves your work is due to the art design, the cutouts are just a cherry on top. I think if you still offered to make one off sleeves, just without the laser cutting, you'd still have tons of interest.

There are plenty of good powered speakers. I'm running a set of Aktimate Mini's with an Sl1200 that sounds brilliant. If you were to stick with just using powered speakers, I would take a look at the Audioengine A5+ or even KRK Rokit G6s, both of which sound pretty dang good.

my Side A of the yellow is also pressed off center. I think every yellow copy is. There are threads on reddit talking about it and people have asked vinyl films for a replacement... not quite sure what happened yet. I don't think the black copies are affected. Not sure about the blue.

The Pioneer sx1010 will destroy the Marantz and the amp you're currently using. If the price is right and the whole thing is restored, I'd jump on it. Those things were rated very conservatively power wise and sound phenomenal.

probably everyone who ordered a copy wanted to actually listen to it and own it. there is a lot less "impulse" when something was up for preorder for 6 months. this was also best picture and won the oscar for best original score. It got overshadowed by Jurassic Park but in all honesty Gravity is probably the best and highest profile release release mondo has ever done.
