I'm disappointed it's another chopped up videogame soundtrack from ghostly. They did the same thing with Hohokum. The entire soundtrack is fantastic and flows so well, less than an hour total length, they should have pressed the whole thing on a 2xLP. how could you omit "door"??

to get stuff back on track, I received the foxes in fiction album last week and it's gorgeous. Warren even signed the inner cover with a personalized note. It's worth the wait guys

I've played mine several times, sounded pretty good to me? they're mastered a little quiet though. picture discs can definitely sound good. it's not like glow in the dark vinyl, which is universally horrible

journey is a must buy. Picture discs have had excellent sound quality lately (breaking bad/ disney HT releases/ WTT). iam8bit's hotline miami 2 pressing was incredible, I don't think they'd put it out if the sound quality was suspect. About time too, Austin Wintory's score is one of my favorites.

it's probably limited. It's also on 45rpm vs. 33rpm for the normal release, which normally means higher quality sound (and a totally separate master pressing)

never tried the sphinx, but i have a cronus magnum II on order. it sounds incredible, FWIW

I paid 270 on discogs for this box (struck out at 5 pre orders, thanks Mark kozelek) and felt that it was fair. a huge part of what makes vinyl fun and collectible, and the entire reason this board exists is because these records are implicitly worth more than your other run of the mill records. i think it's awesome when board members help each other out with records at cost, but that shouldn't be demanded or even expected from anybody. These guys are taking at least an hour out of their day to help you out (drive to store, buy item(or multiples, and have to deal with store thinking you're a flipper anyway), pay tax, drive home, package it up, drive to post office, stand in line, pay for shipping, go home and email the buyer tracking). How much is your own time worth to you?
