Thanks for the heads up. I canceled my Amazon.ca order, and placed it with Soundstage. Saved me about $15.

They have fantastic bass, stereo separation, and possess a well-balanced frequency range. They sound good at low volumes as well. No distortion at extreme volumes. Build quality is top-notch (each weighs ~23lbs), and they can be bi-amped.
 
They can be found cheaper elsewhere online. I snagged a pair for $275 about 4 or 5 years ago.
 
Solid buy. Look at the reviews on Amazon and elsewhere on the net.

In regards to #3, I just spoke with an Undertow rep today and he said there are no plans for the Monthly Volumes to be pressed to LPs. From the email conversation I had today:
"As far as the LP version of the monthly's, I believe that is just a rumor. I haven't heard about anything about re-releaseing the songs on LPs. Sorry for any disappointment. But I do know Dave is working on a new record. We may see that available early next year."
 
Not sure who to believe.

For me, i like the idea of music discovery. There is 100+ years worth of recorded music by thousands of artists i could buy. And when i buy albums i think about diversifying my collection, something new. I like a mixture of genres to choose from. Then again, i consume music and am always looking for new sounds.
I understand peoples' reasoning for collecting variants now.

Rega RP40 with TTPSU & Denon 1930CI SACD/DVD-A Player into a Yamaha RX-V1600 Receiver and out bi-amped JBL L830 bookshelf speakers. I run computer audio using Foobar with ASIO into a Ibasso D6 with dual WM8740s 24bit-96kHz DACs.

LPs are stored in a Walmart brand "Expedit." The turntable is mounted on a wallshelf that is screwed into a stud and hovers slightly above some LP crates (which hold about 300 CDs)

This happened to me. I preordered the MM reissues from SRC. Then I canceled my order after I found cheaper deals elsewhere. After I canceled I realized they only give store credit (first time ordering from SRC). I ended up buying 3 other LPs with the credit. Almost took SRC 2 months to ship out those 3 titles. Each title I ordered was somehow on backorder for like 2 or 3 weeks. When they got 1 title in, another went on backorder. Then they claimed they shipped them on Sept 27th (which was a lie), and they finally arrived Oct. 20th. Had to file a Paypal claim.
 
Avoid SRC at all costs.

I really love his music, but the mastering for the last two Junip LPs has been poor, poor, poor. It sounds like I am listening through a layer of mud. Hopefully this won't be another repeat.
