Can we all agree on that "vinyl me please" is the dumbest fuckin name ever though.

    That's a good deal.

But should probably be in the Amazon sale thread.

Welp, that's the last time I voice an opinion on a sale.

Amazon has Good Kidd, Madd City on sale for $11.19 for those that were looking but missed out oh the Merchandise Outlet deal. Looks like it's only for Prime Members, though.

    Sold out.
I find it funny that they allowed 5 per customer until the stock dropped so low. Newbury'd.

That Indie Vinyl Den sale was very anticlimactic. It looks like they only had 1 copy of a lot of items.

I've been using one for a few years now with no issues. It's time consuming when used properly, but it's definitely a cheaper alternative to a vacuum system. I've certainly had no issues with surface noise due to the fluid.

I hated it when I had it. It always seemed like the fluid would stay on the record after drying, which would lead to move surface noise than before. It does get a lot of the surface dirt off though. Vacuum cleaning is a much better option, and worth the extra money.

Save a little more money and buy a KAB EV-1. It'll be the better investment in the long run.

Spinclean is having a sale on their "retro" unit, $50 with free shipping. I think it looks better than the yellow one tbh

I also called the salem, nh location first because it is slightly closer to me and they said they were getting more copies on Tuesday so if you need a copy I can try to help you out as I'll be around there that day anyways.

My orange just shipped from Rad Cult.
Still don't know how they messed up the green. It didn't seem like they oversold that variant online.

I still can't believe people think their opinion is the best opinion and no one else can like something different than them...

It was never sold out - Cult was having errors with their cart systems, both black and orange suffered through it. Both black and orange have now been available for a while this morning.

I got it about 10 minutes later. Also, you might want to check your spam. I use G-mail and it displayed a little warning on the order confirmation email. Depending on your email client or spam filter, it may have been filtered.

Yeah you really have to get to $75 (which is pre-discount, so that helps) for this to be a huge deal.

$10 shipping for 2 singles and an LP, which makes their 30% discount more of a Free Shipping discount.

Do they do Priority Mail as their standard shipping?

Imagine if this was any other medium or product.

It's a "box subscription" sort of deal for makeup or food or snacks or nerd merch.

On their website, they'd have really well-dressed photos of the top makeup brands, foodie-approved restauranteur recipes, locally-grown delicious-sounding jalapeño-ricotta cashew & quinoa clusters, and really cool 12" figures of the Walking Dead cast.

Let's even throw out the whole curated element.  Let's say they are just offering you the equivalent of FKA-Twigs-quality products in those genres, stuff that even if you don't personally like it, you've read great reviews for it and know there is quality there.

What you would end up getting is dried up Garnier-Fructis single-use packets from Garnier's 2005 Vans Warped Tour booth, a recipe for how to make a discontinued McDonalds snack wrap, a bag of generic gas-station wasabi mix, and a John From Cincinnati 'For Your Consideration' mailer.

People would be even more pissed than now.  But because some people have never been to a Goodwill or have never looked through the vinyl section at a thrift shop, they can receive a terrible $1 record that they admit is not to their tastes, related to their Spotify or Discogs data, or any good at all and they view it as being sent a long-lost artifact, like a piece of petrified hipster wood or a mass-produced dinosaur bone.

Every 'positive' review is from an older woman who is probably related to one of these VNYL team members or from seemingly-well-meaning young people who are just happy to get something in the mail that, in their mind, is a long-lost relic that you can't get anywhere else.  I mean, Tony Orlando.  I've never heard of him so this must be like a forgotten gem that only a few people still have!

Also, the people at the store in the photos seem 'fun' in the same way people in Budweiser, Kia and Levi commercials seem 'fun'.
