An Amazon seller comes through again! I ordered a copy of this for less than $40 ppd and it arrived this week. Gold numbered copy. Disc one was mostly silent, but disc two has some slight surface noise through out.As most of you know, i'm not a huge MoV fan, but this is a great release by them. It does seem to have slightly thicker jacket material than some of my older MoV titles, and the cover art is sharp and true to color (unlike some various MoV titles). Nice packaging overall. And as a bonus, mine made it to me without any seem splits!
 
The real treasure here is the audio. MoV titles to me are usually good, audio-wise, but nothing above and beyond just a solid, acceptable sound. To me sounding like a slightly better version of a decent CD. But this really impressed me. The difference between this and the CD is HUGE. A lot more space, depth, and detail to everything. Dynamics where there were none before. Even music or instruments where there was none before. It really is that much of an improvement. Which, quite honestly, isn't much a surprize considering who mastered the CD. It's certainly not an "Audiophile" release as there are problems with some of loudest parts of the record, especially the loudest vocals, where it sounds like things are clipping and breaking apart. I'm going to guess that may have been what was on the source MoV was given, and they did the best they could with it. I thoroughly enjoyed going through the record yesterday and as a testament to how good it sounded (and maybe to how much I like this album), I have been craving a second listen since I finished the first.
 
Man, credit where credit is due: MoV did a great job with this record and I highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in a great sounding version of this modern classic. I am interested to see what Nadie does with it (I will get that one as well), but for now, this is easily the best sounding version of this record.

OP, avoid VC with threads like this. People here buy records for colors, not sound. That's why you'll get asshole responses to a legitimate question.
 
But to the point, rarely you'll see any info regarding source material on the release itself. It depends on what kind of music you usually buy. If you're into genres where sound quality is "more important", chances are that labels releasing them feel the same way and do whatever they can to achieve that. Most indie labels though don't even know enough about this to be able to make a smart decision.
 
The article 74R posted a few posts up is a great place to start, here's their shortlist of labels who at least try to give the consumer some useful information and are known for quality pressings from analog sources:
 

I work in licensing so I may be able to help a bit.
You'll need to speak with their licensing department. You will more than likely pay a large chunk of money down depending on which artist you're trying to license AND you'll pay a percentage of everything you sell. an example would be you pay $10,000 for the rights and 8% of what you sell.
I don't know if the label would set minimums, but what you'll be out just in licensing and lawyer fees will definitely set those for you.

Seriously.  Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Silence is really hit or miss (for me at least) with more misses than hits.  But Worship and Tribute is a damn masterpiece.  The stuff on the El Mark EP, the Coloring Book EP and Our Color Green is awesome.  

I've been dodging HTDA's debut LP because of my shop's $35 sticker. You just made my day, dude.

I just purchased this; I'm happy.

I pre-ordered the Ultra LP, I tell you what. Hopefully Bobby doesn't try to use it for one of his got-dang comedy acts.

I received my replacement on Monday.  Unfortunately for me, mine had glue lines again on each disc.  And, it was a 150g version and not the 180g I originally ordered.  So if you got replacements, check the weight.
