Yes, outersleeves are essential.  You should have gotten those first, then swapped out the inners after.  I haven't swapped out my inners.. prob won't because I'm cheap.

Seemed like a pretty chill dude here on the boards, but it's cool to see that it's possible to exploit an employee acquaintance to make a quick buck.  I've been doing it wrong this whole time.  Glad it went to a true fan who opened it up to look at the purdy colors and then shelved it, and not some loser who purchased a VIP package and showed up early.  (Not me, by the way.)  "Hahaha nerds" indeed.  I get that shit happens, and I spotted a recent thread that he created, where he's selling an Alexisonfire boxset on account of sudden (alleged) bills.  Maybe I don't know 100% of the story, and I get that bills suck – but they're a part of life, and abusing a venue hookup is still a pretty shitty thing to do, in my opinion.  Dude could've easily sold it for $70 here on the boards and doubled up.
 
It wouldn't be so bad if just 2 pages later, he didn't encourage everyone to jump on someone else selling the same record for a third of the price he's listing his for.

Yes, people do have the ability to leave feedback without exchanging money but Discogs may work with you if it is viewed as unfair. As a seller, somebody once left me negative feedback before an order was even started because I did not respond to an order REQUEST fast enough for their liking.  They then asked me to just cancel the order for an $8 Modest Mouse record because they were "over it."  I politely emailed them and explained that I am not a business and I'm just a guy who sells records I don't spin much on her occasionally.  I apologized for taking two days to respond to a request.  I requested that they remove the negative feedback considering no money was actually exchanged and the only inconvenience for them was that they did not buy a cheap record. Of course there was no response from them. I was mad! I only had a small handful of feedback and all was 100% positive. The one negative review really bothered me because It lowered my rating to 65%
 
Discogs takes feedback pretty seriously and were very reasonable in my case. I filled out a form to dispute the feedback and they removed it for me because it was obviously unjust. Here's a link to their feedback policy. https://support.discogs.com/en/support/solutions/articles/13000015248

So you sold an item but he hasn't paid for it yet? Did you send the invoice?
Why would he need to leave you negative feedback? I feel like we are only hearing half the story.

if you as a seller receive a negative before a transaction has been completed, first politely request that the other party remove it. if that doesn't work, go to the feedback forum, state your case and request that it be removed. it is very important to be polite in all discogs exchanges because if you are rude or curse the moderators will always decide against you, even if you are in the right. 

Take it to social media, send Sony a message via FB or something.

Polyvinyl Records offer higher than average quality pressings for  lower than average prices . They even offer discounted bundles for buying 3 records from he same artist. This will probably be the best and most cost efficient way to get what you're looking for.

I don't know what your life is like, but mine contains a 40 hour work week, a 20 hour avocation week, my six year old daughter, my wife, I read about 5 books a month, follow the St. Louis Blues, try to get in a little bit of video game time (I have a stack of games that goes back to 1998 on a myriad of systems), pretend that I'm still following Arsenal, spend some time with my wife, cook 5-7 nights a week, clean daily, try to have somewhat of a social life, next week my daughter's soccer team starts back up, etc.
 
Why this is sticking to some your guys' ribs, well, frankly I don't get it. But you go.
 
But as stated earlier, time is a very valuable currency for me.

All albums pressed on vinyl are missing at least one song.  It's just how they're made.

The first record was dope. I'm confident this will be equally good, if not better. I love anything Evan Weiss has his hands on. Also, this being on Polyvinyl is amazing. They have consistently high quality pressings and outstanding customer service.
