Same. Even thinking about TWIABP at all makes me angry. Their amazing earlier work is gonna be tainted with the memory of the current state of this godforsaken band and this album. Sucks.

Waiting patiently for Metal Blade to announce the European preorders. Very excited for this record. Gonna go in blind, even - great news about the single.

Always Foreign is just not good—I will not be blind buying their next album. Hurts since they’d been one of my favorites for a while. Mixed signals between “I hope you get what you deserve” and “there’s nothing wrong with kindness”. 

Got my /300 copy of the Swamp Green today from MerchNow.

 

 

Got my tour splat variant w/the screenprint. 85/100. Screenprint is beautiful and thankfully folded correctly. Variant is beautiful too.
 
I absolutely love what they did with the packaging for this album and the spotgloss in the gatefold is amazing. Honestly this album took me by surprise. I liked Descensus, but this is on another level.

I have a feeling this is the new Athletics 7". From the 7" test press posted on Facebook to the size of the wax seal in proportion to the jacket... I think we're in for a treat. Excited.

Got mine today. Pretty stoked on the blue/black merge with red splatter and really stoked on the album art/layout. 
 

 

Showed up early! Gatefold is reversed for the flow of the artwork. Splatter looks meh. Will comment on quality in a bit.

As someone who's kind of burnt out on traditional splatter vinyl, I think that looks rad.

My splatter showed up today! It's not so much of a splatter, rather just the pellets scattered about.

I would love Elephantitis. This sold out pretty quick. They are awesome and deserve it, such nice dudes. 

oh, yeah, this came in today. I don't have much to say, but it's pretty.
 

 

Pretty blown away by this. I'm normally not interested in music with a horn or horn sections (sans for American Football) but it works so well.  The atmosphere this band creates is a lush, dream-like vibe which is definitely AF inspired but they still make it their own.

If anyone figures out where the UK/EU store is supposed to be please let me know.

I love how Converge manages to keep you guessing and their sound evolves so much that each and every release is different and ups the ante on what heavy & emotional music can be & is.
