I don't think the post count should be THAT high. Obviously we won't take someone with a few posts, but I think the major think is it gives VC members first access to things we find, rather than having to compete with lurkers. If you do something shitty and take advantage of what we post, then you'll get the boot.

Got my SS gift right before I left work yesterday evening, and it's amazing!

New Caspian and Tim Barry LPs (both of which I've been meaning to buy, but have put off because of my current cross-country living situation), plus an album by Reverse the Curse, a band that I'm unfamiliar with, but is from my hometown. Also included Heks Orkest and The Gloria Record 7"s, and some stickers. And the coup de grâce, a McDonald's promo flexi from the 80s. Seven months ago, in a thread here on VC, I mentioned that I used to have this flexi... and my Santa hunted it down.

Andrea still had no idea until the end of the episode that it was Rick & Co. that had broke in to save Maggie and Glen. She still doesn't know about Maggie and Glen. I'm sure she still has mixed feelings about Rick & Co. due to "being abandoned".

To view the album art again you have to click view side menu and then that whole thing is back. As for sorting by year if you click get info you can change the sorting and I believe year is one of the options in there.

It's just one dude. Me. I just hired a friend to help me with mailorder since I am busy with my 9-5 job. I've slacked on sending out orders quickly the past few months because of it. But that problem is fixed now due to this guy helping out.
Zao - Parade Of Chaos is still in the works. Not sure how long it'll take them. That release is less T&N more EMI. T&N has definitely stopped licensing stuff though. Oh well. This year has been slow because I've been regrouping because I am trying to get away from licensing stuff. 2013 is going to be good. Have a bunch of great releases on deck featuring bands you are familiar with or bands that have members that used to be in bands you are familiar with.

There's just no way there's 5000 copies, otherwise I have a feeling copies would be going for less than fifty bucks.
Also a note for combatchuck: just because copies are still available in the Tooth & Nail store shouldn't mean the release isn't selling well. Zao's Self Titled is available from Solid State, but it's sold out through Broken Circles, because Brent promoted the release and got the band to spread the word to their fans. People might not know Tooth & Nail even has a webstore. I remember when mewithoutYou records were going for big bucks on eBay while the same pressings were sitting in the Gilead and Burnt Toast webstore, it's just a matter of marketing and working with the bands. And besides, there's nothing wrong with a release staying in print for a while, there shouldn't be a "press 500, sell out in a week, move on to the next release" mentality. They might even have to actually - gasp - send copies to stores through their regular distribution channels, not everyone follows old bands they like via social media.

Sort of illustrating the point that they have thrown a lot of logic out the window and are asking me, as a viewer, to ignore it. In this case you're also doing that to serve a plot point that doesn't really advance any arc, it felt like they were essentially filling the episode with whatever in order to pace the show appropriately. Which to me, is sloppy writing.
I don't need the show to be airtight, it isn't, but I would prefer my leaps in logic to be accompanied with something of value.

Good thing to consider re: Zao! I do agree that as far as marketing vinyl, T&N could be doing much better. I think they're starting to recognize that, however.
