They're gone now, taken down from all sites that were selling them. Supposedly they weren't supposed to start pre-orders until Oct. 1. So that means that maybe we will still get that mono box, since there has been no press release from EMI.

This album restored my faith in Gallows after Frank left.

So I have a proposition for those who can't get to a show and want the VIP vinyl. I don't collect all variants of AOF vinyl like I do C&C stuff. If someone wants to help me pay for a VIP ticket, the vinyl is yours. I'm assuming the VIP tickets will be about $200 (that's how much they're going for in other cities). I'm aiming this more towards those in the US who aren't getting a show but really it's open to anyone.

there will be a standard pressing available to everyone on dine alone records and we'll be putting up a digital version too.. still trying to plan it out. also, IF (note the bold..) there are any copies left over of the teal they will be put on the bands store, not dine alone - so keep an eye out for that

Cover songs just need a compulsory mechanical license. 9.1 cents per song per copy manufactured and you're good to go. Don't even need the artist's permission. Just about the only thing in US copyright law that makes sense.

So, as per their facebook, there will be a tour exclusive 7" test pressing available for VIP pre-sale bundles. Being that I do intend to go to two shows, I will likely be able to bring back at least one extra. If I go with someone else (still hashing that out) I may be able to bring back 3 extra.
This all depends on cost, etc, obviously.

St. Catharines, Ont. post-hardcore stalwarts Alexisonfire are planning a vinyl box set to coincide with their farewell tour, which will be happening this December. According to the press release, the set will include their entire discography, including 12-inch LPs of each of their studio albums and out of print 7-inch EPs including Math Sheet Demos, Crisis b-sides, Insulation Tapes and BBC Sessions.
The set will also feature a photo booklet and other, as-yet-unnamed exclusive goods. We'll keep you posted as more details emerge. Alexisonfire formed in 2001 and disbanded in 2010; vocalists Dallas Green and Wade MacNeil are now fronting City & Colour and Gallows, respectively. Alexisonfire planning vinyl box set

The Running is the first record released on a label by the North Carolina post-hardcore band Beloved. Originally released in 2001, it was remixed / remastered / reissued in 2004. This EP was a short precursor to their now time-honored full length Failure On. This release will be limited to 500 copies.

Saw this shit at midnight yesterday and loved it. Thought it was one of the better sci-fi of the past several years. I honestly have no idea how people can be let down by it. Your expectations are too high.

Talked to the folks at Mondo this past weekend about this. They said . They are just trying to get the best artwork out for this. Looks like a late summer / early fall release and it will be limited but not as limited as their previous vinyl release.

Nothing yet, but I had it sent to a relative's since I was moving around this time, so it could be sitting there for all I know.

The guitarist Brian hopped in our van for a couple days of tour at the end of June and we asked about this. He said that they were still being delayed at the plant due to some manufacturing problems or something. I didn't inquire to much into the details but I can guarantee that the band is in no way responsible for the delay. Sucks that this turned out to be such an ordeal for them because I know he was really stoked on it.
