Same. Ordered a deluxe copy as well as the egg drop variant through their Observatory website like 10 minutes after it dropped. Still no shipping notification. Yet both variants showed to have arrived last week...so.... I'll say this, i get everyone is behind, backed up, short-staffed, low supply, etc et. I get it, i work in supply chain, so i'm front and center with the industry wide issues. But, with the vinyl delays as they are currently, you'd think the point of posting pictures of in-stock vinyl, would be to infer that there would be no such delays for this release. Yet, here we are.

Finally got my silver countertop/alt cover bundle in last week and was able to give this a proper spin over the weekend: wow. Keith an Co. really did pull off not only their most ambitious album to date, but their heaviest. Some of these songs, parts, breakdowns, lyrics will for sure be ETID Hall of Famers. I will say, I wasn't as enthralled with the second half of the record (after track 11 "The Whip") other than "Distress Rehearsal" (that panic chord breakdown is yummy and then the final breakdown with Keith screaming "all sins absolved" - 🤘). I enjoyed the last song but it wasn't anything special for me. I think my hopes were high for the album closer because of just how amazing "Map Change" was from Low Teens, so to be fair, I might have been being a bit unrealistic. All in all though, a solid 9/10 overall for me. This band seems to do no wrong 🙌

Smartpunk has tweeted a few cryptic tweets over the past couple weeks hinting at something "swell" happening soon. Then Nick Diener posted on his Oneder Effects IG story him playing the repress. I messaged him and asked if he had any idea when it would be dropping and he mentioned it should be first week of January when announced. So get stoked Swellers fans!! Great album!

Exactly. Some people try and treat Discogs like FB Marketplace. Which as a seller, I'm all for community and being friendly with people. But at the end of the day, sellers are paying income tax in some cases and going through all the work to properly package stuff, ship it out, update orders, leave feedback, etc. It can get to be a damn full-time job. So it's a bit frustrating when someone order something and then puts in a note "Hi - anyway you'd take less and refund me some of the money cuz I need it for bills". Freakin get your money right before placing order bud. Sorry for the rant 😅

It’s all just so crazy. While I agree Keith is irreplaceable within ETID, I’d make a strong argument that each member has their strengths and make up a very unique part of ETIDs sound, with the only exception being the drummer as that’s obviously changed through the years. Really sad if this is, after their unrelenting 20+ year journey, truly the end… Radical would be a glorious Finale indeed though..

Bingo! Exactly what i was thinking. There's several different versions out there, this one seems like good/sturdy choice too. My main problem is my entire setup though. I have a couple different 2x4 kallax units across the room, while the TT is in my entertainment center, as I use my Denon amp, speakers, sub, etc as my surround sound setup too... So not sure exactly where I'd put something like this, but I do like it. Thanks!

It's really really great. Great melody and vocal performance by Chris too. Sometimes his more recent acoustic stuff can sound somewhat raspy/strained. This seemed a bit polished and the backup vocals sounded great. All around great song, hoping for more of this on the rest of the record. I'm thinking I'll just get the indie when it comes out in Feb. IMO that's the variant that went best with the cover

Got an email late last night that CDs and Splatter variant were slightly delayed but “in-transit” to them. the “Countertop Silver” variant (the one I pre-ordered) is not even in-transit to them yet but “is expected to depart soon”. Said itd be shipping within the next couple weeks. 😪
