Counterparts tagged New Damage in the post, so I am assuming so, though I also though it was weird it wasn't included on the photo. Maybe its because New Damage uses a different pressing plant, so it will have different manufacturing times right now ? I dunno. I suppose we'll see tomorrow!

We have them WW x-Canada which New Damages handles. They have their own set of variants. Different pressings.

I was just thinking about this while re-listening to the album (which slams, so good!)

I know its a different label, but I wonder if @IanRees could give us some perspective, as a industry guy.

Do bands usually dictate what gets promoted as singles?  Do labels?
I imagine its probably a 'depends' type of thing based on however they sign their contract.

Certainly seems like odd choices in this case anyways.

I can't speak to other labels but typically we will propose a rollout schedule with the bands and they always have final approval of what gets released. Most often they have at least a couple songs they like to focus on as singles but not all the time. In terms of our label artists always have final approval on anything that is released wither its singles, merch, vinyl colors etc.

Y'all, It's happening! A deal has been struck and I thank lbw87 so much for being willing to part with this! I'll post some goofy photos once it's back home! Thank you all for tuning in and putting out the word. I cannot believe this is actually happening.

sometimes (very rarely) good things happen on the internet.

not a huge fan of the style on this version of Optimism which was one of my 2 favorites on the real album, but i think the Generation Loss version works pretty well.  Not blown away, but i preordered when it first went up because i love these guys.  Have to imagine the full album will be really hit and miss with different styles, if these first two tracks are any indication

Personally i think its a album that works well sonically as a whole rather than as singles.

Leftists when they encounter an opposing viewpoint. 😆

You're insuniations that someone is unstable is gaslighting. Get off your high horse. It's an internet vinyl forum, not the library of congress.

Ian called our boy a slur and spread rumors and people responded with their own opinions. Call your mom or the mayor and let them know what travesty occured this day.

"Anti-Vaxxer" is a slur now? Is, person against vaccinations the proper nomenclature?

    I'm sure this thread's about to be locked in 3, 2, 1 (or 1-2-8)...

But just wondering about the Dicky anti-vax theory, is that true? I recently read this interview, where he talks about togetherness through live music:

This passage doesn't sound like most Covid truther stuff I've seen, more that if they can't play like they always have, it's not worth it to him, which is quite different:

"Now having said all that, I think there’s going to be a time when people are ready to get back into venues and to see live music the way we’ve always known it to be and what we fell in love with. I think people are probably going to take chances and they’re willing to risk their life, but I’m not sure if it’s going to be for us, so time will tell."

Until / if the band ever confirms its all speculative but there seems to be weight to it.

Glad I got to see them one last time at Riot Fest.
