If you're patient, this might get North American distro. Smartpunk has carried the last two reissues Frenzal did, but I think there was a bit of a delay from when the Aussie preorders went up.

With the rise of various production and shipping costs a $40 alt cover bundle doesn’t make sense. 

We don’t press anything on standard black FYI. Our distro, The Orchard, sells in Canada so if a store wants something they should be able to get it. If not they can usually go through AEC or Rev as well
