Saw Touché Amoré last night, was really there for Single Mothers but stayed for TA, had heard some of their songs but didn't really know what they were about. I was impressed and after hearing all these songs from Stage Four decided to buy it. They all signed and were real nice guys.

And to those complaining about the $35 shipped price, keep in mind this is properly analog mastered and will almost surely sound fucking awesome. Plus, $13 is pretty typical for overseas shipping. For this masterpiece of a sonic trip I will happily shell out that price. Don't like it, don't buy it, complaining here does nothing.

It's cool that they write about social justice and mental health and all that, honestly, but does anyone else think Bello has a cringey way of writing/delivering the message sometimes? Like a high school kid that took his first humanities class and is all preachy. Not as bad as the Between Bodies stuff but definitely on that side of things. I really liked how everything was written on Harmlessness but I thought Greg Horbal did most of that.

I didn't have the "holy shit" response to this new album I did hearing Harmlessness for the first time, but I have to give it a few more passes before I really judge it. My favorite albums tend to be the ones that grow on me.

Yeah it's finally back up, a Redditor hooked me up with an account so I'm trying to get some vinyl rips up to build a nice ratio. Just discovered the software izotope which is amazing at removing pops/clicks so I think I'll be upping some really nice stuff in the coming weeks. Anyone know if What.cd is still pretty active? Been wanting an account for a while but I don't know anyone.

If anyone on here uses the private tracker Waffles, I am starting to get some nice rips of my albums and uploading them. If you're interested shoot me a message and I can point you to my account. Also if I have something you want a digital-vinyl copy of, I can rip and upload it for ya.

I actually sold my copy, I couldn't justify having a record worth $300 on my shelf when I had other monetary needs. However, the few times I played it, it had some very light crackles here and there, presumably just from use over the years, but only really noticeable between songs.. During the songs that pressing kicked ass. Dynamic, punchy, I loved it.

Hope nobody here buys that shit. He won't sign them for dedicated fans but can take a stranger's wad of money for it.

I'm gonna take the taoist approach with the CD and have no expectations, that way I cannot be disappointed There are times I want to sell things like these, I too could use an extra $300, but the times I have I've often regretted it later, once that money is gone. I can earn money other ways, I can't produce another collectible from one of my favorite bands in other ways.

Very, very general. I have never seen any objective evidence to show white vinyl sounding less superior. White is a dye just like black, and any other color. If any color was in fact superior you'd think it'd be a lack of additives, aka clear vinyl.

Yeah, I felt the same. Billy is actually pretty level-headed when you watch his interviews. I think media likes to take the fact that he said Trump supporters should be allowed to have free speech, and spin it to mean he's a Trump-lover with the same message as the people at the rallies. No, he's just saying he doesn't believe in silencing somebody because they have a different opinion that you. And I agree. I'm neither conservative nor liberal, but I was annoyed at a lot of the immature liberal reactions to Trump's success this past election. I don't like it either, but we have to be mature about it. I also agree with his "entertainment industry doesn't care about facts" statement. They want clicks on their websites so they can profit as much as possible from advertising.
