I think it is maybe only half of the new record? The rest are tracks from an EP and unreleased Demos. The first four songs sound pretty amazing though! 

Wow I'm really surprised people hate this album this much. I actually got pretty into this album, particularly all the lore surrounding the artwork. A guy named Alex Pardee made the album cover "Chadam". There was a bunch of short stories that got released on MySpace (ha) and he even got a deal from WB to make a series of 3D animated videos around the character. Looking back they weren't that great, but it got me to the career I'm at today. 
 
 

Didn't think I liked this album. gave it another listen a little while ago and it is great. I'll pick this up! 

Definitly the first very different album they had mainly due to using a sound machine and tons of production. 
 
But I first heard it when I was in my final week of my senior year of high school.   I remember I recommended our perfect senior song be “devil beside you” which was a bside and Best Buy bonus track. But it did not get any votes so I boycotted graduation.

When I was 15 I stole this CD from target because I thought the art was cool, and that lead me to discovering the artist Alex Pardee who inspired me to start drawing and painting in high school and that pretty much changed my whole life and I decided I wanted to have a career doing art in some way. think about it, the 'inner jacket' only cost $1 per jacket to protect your record in a sturdy great sleeve and make it easy to put it in and out of the outer jacket.  how are you guys not excited about this discovery?!?!
