I felt like there was more talking on this than rapping or singing but I liked it for what it was, which I think it was Kanye dealing with some serious personal/ mental trauma. He wasn't afraid to say what he felt in the moments he was feeling it and I like that. He wasn't trying to make a 'definitive' album, he made an album entirely of the moment and he really provoked a lot of people, and nobody can deny that Kanye has the power to provoke thought and conflict more than any other artists these days.

So Topshelf is completely a math rock label now? Lol

I really liked this too, but I live this band no matter what. Not something I will listen to all the time but it's good for when the mood strikes, nice early morning coffee music

As someone who lives in Colorado this record was huge in high school for me, I remember them playing very small local shows and everyone I knew was into this band. That being said, I listened to this for the first time since high school and about half the tracks are still kinda decent and the other half is pretty cringey.... Chokechain is still a banger though
