Man. I really wish I could change that upper case B to a lowercase b. Not sure how I missed that when signing up.

Fuck this album is so good. Didn't expect to buy it today but a shop here in Toronto had it for $17, so I couldn't pass. (if it hasn't already been established that the retail copies are green: mine is green... I see a trend.)

Possibly, though Canadian distributer (fab.ca) also lists it as 2LP. I'm indifferent, personally - but if no one figures it out by the time mine arrives, I'll report back with info. Edit to add: The amazon page I linked also states: "Number of Discs: 1". Maybe the 2LP in the title was erroneously updated, or this was mistakenly not updated. Ohhh the mystery.

1989 on Amazon.ca is now listed as 2LP as well.

I saw this in the wild this afternoon in Toronto for $27.99CAD. Because of the comments about sound quality so far, I passed even though I've loved the album since 03. Others who haven't commented but picked it up - how does it sound to you?

Just picked up my copy from the Dine Alone office this afternoon. Sounds great as I expected and the gold marble is very cool, though both sides have a super tight lead in from edge to start of the track. Could just be my copy - but I've got to be super precise in dropping the needle or it'll drop off the outside edge of the record. I'm hoping more stuff from Kenny makes it to physical media soon!

Just to voice a dissenting opinion: Maybe my expectations were more inline with what's going on for this pre-order, or maybe I'm extraordinarily patient... I went into the pre-order fully aware that I was pre-ordering bundle 2 with no delivery date announced AND knew that bundle one had already been delayed for people who ordered it. I would really really love to get that coloured moneen album ripping on my system ASAP, but I feel comfortable assuming that Dine Alone aren't a bunch of scummy dicks out to screw people over and are doing what they can to make this happen in a realistic time frame. It'll come when it comes, and it'll probably be very worth the wait. If not - I live a block away and come the 1 year mark I'll just pop in during office hours and help myself to some office furniture to recoup my costs Which reminds me, I need to go over and pick up my BR/DGES 7" right now. To be fair though: a status update would be appreciated.
