Using the word 'limited' to any number above 500 is ridiculous

Why? If it's a one-off pressing, and they know how many they made, why not state how many copies exist?

Relatively speaking, Radiohead's Burn the Witch 7" (limited to 2,500) was an absolute bitch to get at retail because demand was so high.

PV has made the TPs more of a product lately. That Owen record had 50 Test Presses for sale. Less of a test press and more of a limited variant at that point. Either way, PV is a great label and I have no problem with them making a little extra keesh these days to stay afloat

Yeah they did it with Jay Som, Anna Burch. Love PV but hate that fucking tactic - it's a white label release, not test pressings.

Wait, is that the cover? Yikes.

Pretty sure. It's on the VMP server. I know she despises the original cover photo.

"She’d made plans to rerelease “When the Pawn . . .” on vinyl, but with the original artwork, by Paul Thomas Anderson, swapped out."

trying to buy the new fontaines record and its not working. Maybe they fixed it?

I had thought it only applied to the releases they post about here:

Most fall under the tags of "Member News" and "Interviews".

Wonder if When The Pawn will be a members only release or available for anyone? If it's members only, I'll definitely sign up for a month and swap for something.

The magazine URL trick should hopefully work again unless they’ve fixed that bug.

You’re making me really nervous, guys... instead of heading north, mine got sent to Miami. At least it’s moving 🙄

Spontaneous think-tank session: a PIXAR-type movie where mail packages have personalities, and a group of them decide to fraudulently change their destination to Miami to finally see the ocean and go on vacation. One of them is a record with a sad corner bump.
