  1. Yeah, while the picture disc is cool and all I would almost rather have a signed normal ass black LP
  2. So, not to be dense, but is this an official pressing? I haven't seen this listed on discogs yet. Also, how does it sound? I'm debating going ahead and snagging a copy from a 3rd party instead of waiting for the official store link.
  3. Mine just arrived. Haven't heard the album yet, but Im sure ill find time to spin it later today.
  4. Looks like its only for the fall tour, but I will be for sure grabbing this once its becomes available.
  5. I would have picked up the repress had it had some new tracks on it, after all I'm sure my old copy could use to be replaced, but I'm not sure if i would sign up for VMP again just for the tracks that ill be listening to in a couple of months.
  6. If anyone with a VMP account could pick up the Monsters of Folk Repress, please shoot me a PM!
  7. I still need to get the previous set of these... Just preordered from Amazon, because that does seem cheaper than the past years.
  8. I kinda want to pick this up, but I'm not sure if I'll ever play it more than a few times. If I ever see this on the cheap though, I'll probably jump all over it.
  9. Still haven't gotten my shipping notification yet
  10. Shine Blockas from his first album was amazing, I can wait to see what they put together this time around. With that being said, I'm ashamed to admit that I'm a little wary of a Pimp C verse almost a decade after his passing, but who knows.
  11. So its come to my attention that a record of the Jet Set Radio Soundtrack was released. Anyone know anything about it? All I can find are +$100 versions for sale on Ebay and Discogs.
  12. Same. I found Ghost on Ghost used, but I never ended picking KEOC up. I guess looking back on it, that album was such a letdown compared to any of his previous works at the time. Overtime I've accepted Ghost on Ghost, but I don't think I've ever revisited KEOC.
  13. Antoine Andre Patton, better known as Big Boi, AKA Daddy Fat Sax, AKA Sir Lucious Leftfoot, AKA Billy Ocean, AKA Francis the Savannah Caitlin Pimp, and one half of the mighty Outkast has his third solo album coming this summer called "Boomiverse". I know that when most people think back on Outkast, they think back on Andre 3K, but Boi has been putting out some solid work since going solo. However, his past two albums have been incredible. While I wasn't too big of a fan of Big Grams, I am pretty stoked about this. According to his instagram, "The 12-track project serves as the Southern MC’s third solo LP, and features the star power of Snoop Dogg, Gucci Mane, the late Pimp C, Run The Jewels’ powerhouse Killer Mike, Kurupt, Jeezy, Sleepy Brown and Curren$y. Boomiverse acts as Part 1 to a double album, although no information on Part 2 has surfaced as of yet. Boomiverse is expected to arrive on June 16. " Tracklisting: Da Next Day Kill Jill f. Killer Mike & Jeezy Mic Jack In The South f. Gucci Mane & Pimp C Order of Operations All Night Get Wit It f. Snoop Dogg Overthunk Chocolate Made Man f. Killer Mike & Kurupt Freakanomics f. Sleepy Brown Follow Deez f. Curren$y & Killer Mike According to the shop: 2LP – Blue/White Swirl vinyl Single Jacket w/Generic Sleeves 12”x24” 4/4 insert, with download code http://boomiverse.shop.musictoday.com/product/Y4LPBO01/big-boi-boomiverse-lp?cp=null I guess we are looking at three tracks on each side, though part of me secretly wishes he drops both part one and two at the same time. There are a couple of signed posters and packages that you can find at the page above. It comes out to like $30 after shipping.
  14. What the fuck is he going to sign if it's a picture disc? Hopefully it's an insert instead of on the actual record.
  15. Damn! While I want to snag one of those, they are a bit too expensive for moi.
  16. Bump! I mean, look at some of the amazing acts you could see!
