This has been addressed and fixed. Takes about 72 hours for the warning to come off.

The Boston scene I grew up with is slowly fading. It's been rough. No more Therefore I Am. No more A Loss for Words, my favorite band. And now no more Transit. These guys were one of the bands that got me into the scene and punk/hardcore in general. Weird to see them all gone. I wish the guys in Transit the best of luck. Great, hard working people. I'll try and catch the NYC, CT and Boston shows if I can. Definitely Boston though.

MerchNow just told me on Twitter that they have these in stock and have started shipping.

sorry to bump the thread, but I thought that since a lot of people were still waiting on this, if this piece of satire wasn't posted anywhere on the boards yet that this would be a good thread to post it in.

I remember reading an interview a while back that when Andrew Lincoln read the script for the season finale, it turned his stomach. He said he had never been so surprised or uncomfortable by the outcome of the show since it started. Now while I'm not saying Abraham isn't a major character, I have a feeling it may be a more major character. Although I can definitely see them killing off Abraham as well.

Medium Rare on the inside. Get the iron really hot and char it, then throw it in the broiler to finish super quick. Only goes in there for a few minutes. Coated in sea salt and fresh pepper. Butter and blood. Good every time.

I don't need to justify my equipment to anyone, if I knew sharing my setup here would lead to this I would have just kept it to myself. Also, it's awfully ironic that your post originally ended with "grow up" yet you're going through downvoting my posts, all because you don't approve of my record player, which led me to start downvoting yours in the first place.

I'm trying... it's hard, I'm doing better lately though! I have the setup I want put together as a bundle on Turntable Lab, just to get a general price, and it comes to about $1200 before shipping. I figure I can save a few hundred if I'm able to find parts used but in acceptable condition.
 
I know my Crosley isn't optimal, but it'll do until I can afford something better. I'm excited to finally upgrade though! The Pro-Ject Carbon definitely sounds like a great choice, I've heard it's the best audiophile quality turntable you'll get for under $1k. Any suggestions as far as amp/pre-amps go? I admit I don't really know much about them yet.

(Obligatory note that record cleaning/maintenance supplies should be included in OP's budget.)

Mesi said it well - may want to think about what turntable if you're getting an integrated amp as you'd waste some of the value in getting the Denon if it already has a phono preamp.
 
If you want to use active speakers, and add a way to use your headphones, my suggestion would be to get a Schiit Magni 2 Uber ($150 US). It is a very capable headphone amp (and I'm assuming for this you would use the preamp in the Denon for now), and use it for its outputs to the active speakers. Note: you need to get the Magni 2 Uber for the pre-outs; the Magni 2 doesn't have that.

Seriously, don't get that Denon. I think 5 people have mentioned this to you now. Its a seriously weak link. Especially putting a $200 cart on it.

Your bigger problem if you are getting the Marantz is that it won't work with your Audio Genie's unless you use the pre out on the Marantz which would be pointless.
 
Both have power amplifiers in and you cant connect one after the other without making smoke.
 
If you are getting the Marantz then get proper passive HiFI speakers and a better turntable and you will have a half decent system
