Did anyone get a signed copy with a doodle inside the sleeve? She said she got bored and drew a few things inside a few of the copies along the way.

i noticed that bundle about a week or two ago and it has slowly dropped in price from when I first spotted it at nearly $70.. def. curious on more info about it though.

yeah.. i got excited when I found out they used those plates and figured it would be solid but they once again dropped the ball and this was the my final straw with them. not nearly as bad as my acid rap copy but still pretty pathetic considering how fantastic the original version sounded. on a positive note I was talking with Kno and he told me Will Rap For Food is being pressed right now so that will be available again at least.

the screwed up thing though is that it was out of stock so this is probably a new run and if that is the case everyone that has a copy from before does not matter at all. I have been screwed a couple times where the initial release was getting good reviews but the copy I got was from a separate run (with all matching numbers) and it ends up sounding awful. like acid rap since we are in a chance thread, the copy I got is easily the worst sounding record in my collection by far. they are so amazingly inconsistent with quality I will never buy from them again personally. i messaged them twice asking if there way anyway I could return and get a copy from the next run or something since it was literally unplayable and both times I did not even get a reply. i know a lot of people have good experiences with them but the three times I bought from them was all bad so I completely understand people that are against them.

Can you link them? I searched before and just right now and do not see any close to 35.

damn, gambino is one of the few artists that is constantly going different directions musically and none of it is a train wreck. Listening to this with no knowledge you would never guess this is the same artist from previous efforts which is about as much of a compliment I can give considering how many other artists fail miserably. I do not do a ton of pre-orders but this will be an easy blind buy. I can see some 20/20 experience similarities as well! I think Timbaland's production was a bit more clean and polished though and I do not mean that as a bad thing for either project. I also got an alabama shakes vibe from it as well! I am very curious how the album will sound as a whole because that is another thing gambino does so well is make a complete album experience which more artists used to do but it seems like so many today just throw a bunch of tracks together.

I seen this earlier and had to talk myself out of it.. def. tempting but after shipping and tax it is nearly 40 which made it a little easier to pass on. I probably would have lost the battle if they used the other cover though.

I was shocked when I saw this on my doorstep.. this is how it was delivered from an amazon warehouse.. it was already open as well so to make sure the record did not fall out they secured it nicely with a single piece of scotch tape in the middle of the slit.. I am honestly amazed it is not more damaged and the record inside looked brand new still so since I got it for super cheap I am not going to return it but has anyone else got an album sent to them like this? i have seen some god awful packaging before but never no packaging at all.

agree 100%, there was tons of stuff coming out around that time i would pick up with quickness if it was available.. I am also pretty surprised Lynch's trilogy release from Strange Music never got the vinyl treatment which are all pretty solid as well with an awesome concept. that would make a great box set.

Great pickup! On the horrorcore note, they really need to reissue Season Of Da Sickness.. Necro and Brotha Lynch were running it for a long time.

It might be worth messaging them to say that you want to try a month to see how it all works but you do not want to commit to three months yet.. they have really good customer service so they might do that as a one time thing.

I had 3 different employee's who were all completely surprised as well but one thing I heard that might help some people is they said with the uo insider app you can actually scan the albums to see the sale prices yourself (after I had them scan 30-40 albums they suggested I should try it haha).. I ended up not going back to the rack to try it myself but it would be a nice tool to have if it does work.

I thought the same thing especially since the one I went to was in a college town with a lot of daily traffic but they had a solid amount.. I left a good 50+ on the shelves in the sale area which is why I wish I had more time but there is no markings on any of the records below 14.99 so even the employees were shocked at the prices and told me "that might be the best deal I ever seen working here". not the greatest selection ever but for a $1 you can't complain much. Ol' negative nancy behind the counter scoffed at it and said it was because vinyl is not cool anymore haha.

Did not think I was going to get in on this deal at all but happened to be close to one earlier today and slaughtered it haha I just had them scan a bunch to keep what was on clearance from the sale area and ended up with 20 albums for 25.90 since they also added another 40% off on top of it which is going on through sunday.. I was in a pretty big hurry or else I would have gotten even more. Some actual very solid albums and others were just hard to pass for basically $1.. Kind of was hoping for Kid Rock honestly because I would never pay a lot more for it but all in all it was a good day!

Thanks for the heads up on this, went ahead and grabbed it as well! I used GLHTSEPWELC 10 off 30 and it pushed everything back to regular price so I just bought a $6 item which pushed it to over 30 and then the discount brought it back down to 21, basically just got the extra item free.

The Acid Rap release is a 50/50 thing.. the pink ones were supposedly good quality for a bootleg but then the second pressing on clear were god awful (I got this one). Personally, after two orders and three records I am def. done with vinyldigital. Even the official release of Cunninlynguists I got sounded pretty mediocre and all 4 sides were filled with surface scratches like the employees got bored and decided to play a game of frisbee before packaging it up. Then all 3 records jackets were also damaged as well in multiple spots. It seems like a lot of people are happy with them though.

These guys are incredible! That Mr. Scott Stapp has a voice like no other. I'm thinking this will be the perfect album to just leave on repeat at my next party. #thinkingboutlife! #timelessclassics

I am not real familiar with those pads but from what I see of them they should work just fine. As long as it pushes your cleaning liquid in the grooves you are good. You're right about the second pass through with the distilled water. It is just to make sure there is nothing left behind. You can probably do without it the majority of the time, it is just one of those things that since you are already going this far to clean your records right you might as well do that little extra bit. Here is a demonstration video of the machine I use that might help a bit to see everything on video instead of just text. As you can see it is extremely simple but I know how it is when you start reading different things around the net it seems a lot more complicated then it should be.
