  1. So these come out today. Let me know if the problem with RevRad has been fixed. My copy plays fine, but I'm curious for the rest.
  2. I picked up Neck Deep's latest album on release day. They had plenty in stock. Just give them a call the day before or day of and ask. They can put items on hold for you until the they close at the end if the night.
  3. If Discogs doesn't work out, try posting in the discussion above.
  4. Adeline Records shut down after this sale I'm fucking bummed.
  5. HT has been turning down some exclusives too. They were offered a chance at an exclusive variant for D.R.U.G.S. but they declined it, so it went to ETR instead. It wouldn't surprise me if they turned down some others too.
  6. Damn. I've been internet-less for the past 4.5 days due to that damn hurricane. Just got it back and missed out on this. I hope they have the tour variant at Self Help Fest on the 30th.
  7. That's what I do. I have 12"/LPs, 7", 10", Cassettes, Signed CDs and Samplers. It's great to catalog what you have. And you can sort it in many different ways.
  8. Can't say we haven't seen this coming for years now. Good riddance.
  9. As far as the database at Dead Format goes, it might as well not exist. You haven't been able to submit to it for some time now. The marketplace is horrible too; you can't even sell on it. Their store is a joke too. I ordered a DF slip mat once and after two months I just randomly got a refund, never shipped out. BUT I will admit that it was nice for cataloging what you have. You can download a spreadsheet of what you have though, so that's nice. You can easily move it somewhere else now. I've disliked this site for a while, but it's still kind of sad to see it go.
  10. Wait. If it had no crackling before, why did you clean it? Don't fix it if it hasn't broken yet, my dude. Edit: Are we talking Brand New the band, or brand new the condition?
  11. Got 2 for ya: 1) MerchBucket.com has 30% off until Labor Day. Discount is taken automatically. 2) 75% off at Adeline Records with code LABORDAYSALE
  12. Yeah, yeah, yeah, "picture discs suck, blah blah blah. 180 gram black vinyl is superior." But if you're interested, MCR's first two albums, "I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love" and "Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge" are getting repressed on picture discs. They'd just be a novelty item for me, but they look pretty cool. Pre-order here. Coming 9/29/2017 I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me You Love Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge
  13. This is really cool! I'm going to make a pin for it on my iPhone's homepage. A cool feature would be to have the ability to change the number of search results displayed on a page. Just an idea. Good job with this! Can't wait to see where it goes from here.
  14. I don't know anything about this one, but I have a "Clouded" test press/ promo copy by This Wild Life (Epitaph) and it's limited to 30 copies. Not sure if this would be around the same, but a cool find!
  15. I think they were good for a while, "friends" to the public. But then Kanye put out that music video with all the fake naked celebrities and she was one of them so they have beef again. It's quite comical.
  16. I know Best Buy isn't a label, but they are a store that sells records, sooooooo I ordered 2 records from Best Buy back in the beginning of July. It said the items were available and ready to ship, but as soon as my order went through, it changed from "available" to "back order." It said it'd be here by August 8th though, so I didn't stress it. Well August 3rd rolls along and my order still hasn't shipped, so I contacted their customer support and talked with them for about 15 minutes. I was told that everything looks good with my order and it should be here by August 8th. A week later, the 8th rolls along and I get a notification saying that my order has been delayed and will be here on September 9th. I contacted them again and told them that I would just like to cancel my order and get my money refunded. The customer service representative talked me in to waiting because my "order has arrived at [their] warehouse and is just waiting to ship out." He told me that it should ship out within the week, so I waited. Well, about a week ago I get an email saying that they've canceled my order and refunded the money back to my PayPal. The refund was hassle free, but I was pretty pissed that I was out 50 bucks for the past 2 months. Especially since two separate people told me that everything looks good with my order and it will positively, most definitely arrive at my doorstep. I was pretty bummed and frustrated with them. I try to steer away from getting records from big retail companies like this, but for the right price, I'm willing to chance it. Never again, now.
  17. Releases on Discogs are all user-submitted, so some release may be incomplete or inaccurate as far as stamps and etchings in the dead wax go. As OhBuoyancy suggested, you could try looking on Deadformat, but that site is rarely updated anymore and the releases only mention which pressing, color and how many of that record were pressed. If you can't find what you're looking for, best bet would be to reach out to the artist(s) or label themselves and see what information they can give you.
  18. They are all first pressings, but regardless if what run they're from, a record shouldn't skip fresh out of the package. For a few people, maybe; but not for a mass load of people. While gruv glide might partially or permanently fix the problem, the real problem is in the plates they used. JOS makes sense when they say They'd rather have a poorer sound that doesn't skip than a 180G that does. I agree, and I'm hoping they use new plates for this.
  19. Does anyone have The Iron Giant OST? First pressing or the Books-A-Million repress? I'm looking to get a copy of either, but I've never purchased a BAM exclusive record before. So if I go with the BAM exclusive, I want to know how it'll sound.
  20. I'm not sure how I've never seen this thread before. I've just been sharing these in the "Albums That Should Be Pressed On Vinyl" thread. Anyways, here ya go:
