Makes sense for RevRad. I heard the red variant has some problems with skipping. Have you tried the FYE one? My copy plays fine. I'm a huge Green Day fan, but for me, these would just be novelties.

I've gone to shows and bought records from march booths. These are scratched sometimes, but with the way they're probably handled, being constantly put up, taken down and moved across state lines, I sort of expect it. They'll have scuffs, but they rarely affect playback. As far as records from stores or sealed records online, I can't recall many problems that I've had. Only one actually; and it was a picture disc, so I can't even see the scratches, but the disc skips during every song on both sides. Bummer.

I have the standard black 2009 repress of Dookie and the FYE exclusive "hunter green" variant of RevRad. Seeing as both of these are still readily available to the public, why is a picture disc repress even necessary? Sure, they look cool, but wouldn't more people prefer better sound quality at a cheaper price?

Not sure how we missed this, but HMV also has an exclusive variant. White In Black Color-in-color. I'm not sure what it's limited to, but the mockup looks decent. If anyone has gotten UO exclusive, you should definitely post up a picture here. I hate shopping there, but I'm curious to see what this color way looks like.

Welcome to the VC boards! In the end, this all comes down to personal reference. It doesn't add any monetary to the record, only sentiment. If you're a big fan of the artist, it's cool to have the first copy out of a numbered run, but if you're just a casual listener it doesn't really make a difference. That's how I feel about it at least. But there's really no real answer to this question; it just depends on your opinions and thoughts about it.

ETR just posted that both variants are sold out; however, some orders had to be refunded due to duplicate orders, so a few more will be listed back for sale once all ordered ship out (within the month). They also said that they're doing a repress with different color variants later in the year to meet the apparent demand. So if you missed out on these, don't stress it.

Thanks for the heads up. Finally picked up a copy of Enema of the State by blink-182. I had a $5 reward to use too. I actually had to add a $2 pair of socks to my cart to get free shipping to store. $10.72 for a LP and a pair of socks? Not bad.

Had some trouble checking out, but you already know ya boi snatched this up.

I didn't order this one, but I just bought D.R.U.G.S. from them about an hour ago and got stuck at the shipping info screen. It just kept loading. I opened up another tap and got through with no problem . The other tab was still loading about fifteen minutes later though. I'm not a fan of storeenvy shops.
