High, for sure.
I think my favorite song on this record is "Waiting For Love." Like, who knew Cave In could still write suuuper-big pop hooks?

I'm stone cold sober right now and listening again, and yeah, my inebriated self was correct: This record truly is the fuckin' tits.

I’m one edible and two glasses of red wine in and this record is the fuckin’ tits. 

This record is a masterpiece.  2022 album of the year.

All I have to really say is that this is a  fuckin' ridiculously great record. It checks all of the boxes of their best sounds and styles. And having Nate come in, shows that he's the only one who is very capably up to the task of taking care of Caleb's role. 
 
"Wavering Angel" is by far my favorite track. It's everything perfect that is Cave In and a swirl of emotions throughout. 

I didn't think I'd ever say this about Cave In, but I kinda love the nod to Tool in Careless Offering in the guitar lead and vocal effects. And then the transition into Blinded by a Blaze ... fuck!

Got tickets for Cleveland. This is one of a very small list of bands I love that I've still never seen, so I'm excited to finally cross them off the list! 

I feel that.  side C and D are just so epic.  hearing those singles mixed in with the rest of the album is just so good.  reckoning going into the last track thats like 15 minute 'cavein take of zeppelin' is incredible.

I would be SO happy to be so perfectly poorly timed with my comment except I was doing Mother’s Day shit all yesterday and missed out AGAIN. I can’t look my kid in the eye today. Dad let you down again, buddy.

Definitely not, this will never get a 3rd press. 

It's a massive album, a real listening journey and a lot to digest. They really went all out on this one. I don't want to give anything away, but I hope one day I'll get to see them perform the whole thing in full. The epic duel guitar hook at the very end by itself should be worth the price of admission. 

The “be patient” urgings/condescension in this thread is aging poorly. So am I while I wait to own a copy of this.

got my review copy and all I can say is . FUCK.

Still haven't listened to a note of this record yet. Still 100% confident I was smart to pre-order it.

Unpopular opinion: Sister cities is the best TWY album.

The first 3 albums were my high school years. They were the first band I ever saw live (July 97 and Oct 97) touring Colour and the Shape.
Kind of fell of the wagon after In Your Honor but have listened and bought albums after it. I didn't mind Wasting Light and Medicine At Midnight.
We lost a good one. This one's gonna sting for awhile.

shouldnt this have just been 2 12inchers w. the 2nd LP being demos of the entire album instead of just a couple?
also i lost track of how many  colors this has... not sure why the topic creator like many others do not do their job after creating the topic to constantly update it with all colors, numbers, and links to where to buy.
