  1. Honestly just take the return, it is probably not woRth dealing with this type of buyer. Was it described as mint and there ended being a corner ding or something pretty minor.
  2. so has anyone heard anything or received anything from popmarket recently? Have had three preorders that have been released and have heard anything about any possible shipping or replies to my emails.
  3. Kick Out the Jams has been reissued a few times not sure it means anything for other reissues, unfortunately not sure there is a huge demand for them
  4. Seems like a good way for major labels to dump a bunch of reissues that didn't sell.
  5. I don't think anyone would argue it isn't a novelty piece. But let's be honest the vinyl world Pretty much revolves around novelty and collectibIty otherwise there would be no limited edition, colored vinyl, alternative covers etc. Much like a sizable portion of records bought very few of these sets will actually see a turntable.
  6. I get that but art is a major part of what Amrep does and is what makes their releases unique and desirable. If you don't give a shit about artwork Amrep is not the label for you. To be fair Haze said the two songs are on the album so there was no reason to buy this if you just want the music.
  7. The thing is, is it even worth it to put out regular editions of their singles and 10 inches? I doubt they'd sell enough to make it worth it. The main reasons reasons people want these is for the art and they are collectibles. How many 12 inch nonlimited singles featuring two songs that are on an upcoming album would they sell?
  8. For $16 I guess I can complete the set and finally buy the Joe Preston one
  9. Is it selling for $400 or is someone just listing it for that much, there is a huge difference. Especially considering it last sold for $16 on diScogs in October
  10. Did they ever offer monthly flexi subscriptions yet? I Like the idea of the white label Series but I'd probably only want a handful of them.
  11. Well he already said that they will include randomly the one of a kind voice-o-graph 45s which will probably be the biggest selling point of the box. Probably the chance to get oNe of those the lp, shirt and a bunch of useless knick knacks.
  12. Thinking about it. It don't know if I want to spend $140 on a record that is just ok, IMO. Kind of just want the book.
  13. http://lightintheattic.net/releases/2839-live-meadowbrook-rochester-michigan-12th-september-1971 DISTRO SPOTLIGHT! 14. The thing is I don't feel the NEED to have a limited lathe, if I can get one cool if not whatever. For the most part they are just collectibles so if they can get People to spend money upfront for them good for them. If someone is willing to help Keep a label going they should be rewarded and if you can't then don't worry about some release you'll probably never listen to anyways but only want because it is rare and makes a sweet trophy or will be worth something. Shit anyone paying $100 a month should get some Super limited melvins and built to spill records.
  15. I think joyful noise puts out a lot of good music. Also, there is a lot of music I am not a fan of as well, but there are maybe two or three labels I like everything they release. I'd hardly call what they put out boring but then again I find most bands on here that have threads with 50+ pages are usually garbage but that is just my opinion. I would never blindly put up $100 a month for it but as a big Melvins, Lou Barlow and Built to Spill fan I know I'll really enjoy a bunch of releases they put out every year.
  16. I love Tad so I think all three of these are must own but I'd probably go Gods Balls, Salt Lick, 8 Way but that could change depending on the day
  17. No way it was /50 it was on their site for over a week before it sold out. Goner's variants have lasted a lot longer then they have in the past usually any variant would sell out Pretty fast.
  18. Anybody know how 4ADs customer service is? finally got around to opening this, was out of town when it came, and it is pretty much destroyed. A quarter pizza box is shredded and 1/4 is smashed with a major crease on the other half. Pretty bummed about this but hopefully I can get a new one shipped to replace it.
  19. That's cool of them to do that since they cancelled my order for AFP a few weeks ago
