  1. Totally! I do that too! But I inevitably run out of the recycled self-cut squares, so I'll just buy 100 of them already cut and I don't have to worry about making my own for a while. Then those run out and I go back to using ones I've cut and the cycle repeats. I actually just bought a few pieces of furniture that came boxed and I went to town with my blade making squares. It is kinda satisfying to make your own supply.
  2. I use the Pratt mailers, which are also known as Amazon-style mailers. And then I add 2 of these cardboard squares per mailer. Adds maybe ~$2 to your costs but you will be sending out well packed and extra secure orders, which are worth the cost in peace of mind as a seller, IMO.
  3. This one was briefly hard to find and expensive (maybe in 2014-2015?) but it has since re-appeared and seems to be readily available at standard price the last few years.
  4. I bought mine after at least one of the refills. It went out of my cart and I had to wait 5-10 minutes for it to appear and to check out again.
  5. Damn. I haven't gotten mine canceled yet but I'm sure I'm next.
  6. Probably for the best, unless you were equally stoked to receive the regular repress for $20.
  7. Dang. I'd have loved to get a copy of that Jeff Caudill R.E.M. lathe but I'm here in LA. At some point in 2015, I started amassing a collection of R.E.M. vinyl bootlegs, 12" and 7" singles, weird soundtrack appearances, and also odd/obscure cover albums. I now have 3 cubes of Kallax space filled with R.E.M. records and R.E.M. related releases and trying to add more when they pop up. If, for some crazy reason, copies are left over and you are selling them online, I'd love to get in on it. Have an awesome RSD out there.
  8. Not sure how scarce the availability is or how many Cherry Tree members there are but the pre-sale went pretty easy and smooth for me just now. I decided to do the Friday date since I have an early day job. Hope you got yours easy too.
  9. Updated the spreadsheet with a few new free CD options and removed some vinyl I sold this week.
  10. I hate the Bowl but it was better than any other Bowl show I've seen and still fun enough. I do miss when they'd play the Troubadour and I could stand 15 feet away from the band.
  11. I saw that! Thanks for looking out. I saw them play the Hollywood Bowl last year, which would normally fill my National live quota for a while, but my wife had a last second business trip so she missed out. Then we saw them this year at a 7 band radio station mega lineup but they played 5 songs and the crowd was walking around and talking during their set (and they didn't play Dark Side of the Gym, our favorite SWB track), so my wife still hasn't seen them in their full new record glory. Hopefully, we get two tickets to that Friday show.
  12. Heading to the post office tomorrow to drop off this weekend's orders. Place an order and complete payment tonight and I'll mail your package out with this batch tomorrow.
  13. Something that they haven't promised at all but would make the club my favorite thing in the world is if they stocked extra copies of RSD releases, like that Boxer live album, and/or had enough members to make member exclusive pressings of releases. I'm more happy to pay $50 a year to have access to buy a $40 record of something unique or weird or rare from them rather than an exclusive shirt/sweater design for $40-60.
  14. Yeah. I'm hoping they don't go the old R.E.M. fan club route and make it a 7" of the band playing a loosely rehearsed Christmas song. But $50 is (relatively) affordable even if the final tangible products are underwhelming. Merch exclusives are a big zero for me but the pre-order tickets might have value if/when they play LA again in the next 12 months.
  15. I signed up earlier today. I think the cost is worth it, if just to avoid VC from leaking exclusive pre-order links hours before fans get the official emails about it.
  16. This one is great. I've always appreciated Hop Along and I feel like this one has pushed me into being a full on Hop Along fan boy.
  17. Remainder of the Polyvinyl 4 Track singles have been added to the sale spreadsheet in the first post! Sold one and a few other items but plenty left. Thanks to everyone who has placed an order so far. I just paid off my PayPal credit balance which was high from two improv classes and that recent eBay importCDs sale. Much thanks!
  18. I still need to spend more time with the new 7", as the slower piano stuff really isn't what draws me to Petal, but the debut record was insanely good. I am definitely picking this up once it's out.
  19. 1. Sold a bunch of stuff this weekend and had to walk these heavy bags all the way down to my local post office earlier today. Plenty of stuff still available though! Take a look and see what you'd like. 2. I added 8 of the 12 Polyvinyl 4-Track Single Series records from this past year. I'll add the remaining 4 later today/this week and set prices once I have time to play test.
  20. Looks like JNR may have purchased those copies from Edwards to sell for themselves and the mark up is them trying to recoup losses. Sounds like the release and agreement for this album got bungled at some point between one or both parties.
  21. Sorry. I would have been pissed too. I might suggest spreading out that frustration toward people adding it to their cart to check stock totals out of curiosity (understandable but annoying for people trying to check out) and also Edwards himself. It seems like his Patreon pre-sale sorta of messed with JNR's normal roll-out process for their releases, so the Patreon members were promised and got first dibs and JNR's VIP members, like you and I, got a bit shafted with a much smaller number of copies, no heads up, etc. Hopefully, they pop up quickly like his last VIP version did for under $35.
  22. I don't know if this actually helped but I logged into my VIP account and then tried again and it went through.
