This proves our theory that the 2nd pressing was the FIRST pressing and they tried to cover up this lie by telling us the real 2nd pressing was first, thinking we'd believe it. But then, the real 2nd pressing got delayed so the fake 2nd pressing actually became the real 1st pressing which is now the real 1st pressing and is shipping first, which seems way too convenient and makes me think that there were actually two 1st pressings all along and the leak of the fake 2nd pressing first is just a diversion to the fact that we are close to finding the truth.

I feel like a dope for all the times I heard an R.E.M. or Talking Heads album and didn't recognize how great they were.

I ordered from Bandcamp last year and Shopify a few weeks ago. Both were bundled into one package and I got shipping confirmation emails from BandCamp and the Shopify store.

Got shipping email on Tuesday night. Tracking still shows as pre-shipment tho.

If the RSD team got full artistic/creative control, all sides will feature a live photo of David Bowie as Aladdin Sane.

The artwork, packaging, and color vinyl of both soundtracks are awesome and thoughtful, so any temptation to get the picture discs is squashed for me thankfully. I might consider it more if the regular release was barebones or missing some visual appeal.

Really sorry this happened to you, OP. I wish there was a way to sell records without being exposed to theft or fraud but the reality is we are always susceptible. If you ran a physical shop, you'd have to account for inevitable theft and shoplifting and it's easy to forget that online shops are also dealing with that threat. Thankfully, a vast majority of people buying records are decent folks. Thanks for taking your own time to report the user to Discogs and PayPal. You might not get your money/record back but you are helping to make it harder for that idiot to do this again. You should at least feel good about that. Beyond reporting them, I'd recommend keeping your head up and not expecting that all your good customers are now thieves in waiting. IMO, a few awful people shouldn't force us to employ a scorched earth response that makes us paranoid about the 99.99% of folks who are respectable. Sorry again you had to deal with this and thanks again for reporting that dumbass.

I had a clear and there were surface noise flare ups here and there. Not perfect but I didn't think it was unlistenable or crazy awful.

I found a way to make not caring work for the last 2-3 years so this is tough for me.

Damn it. The National are pulling a Cake/R.E.M. and forcing me to care about RSD.
