  1. If you're already a VIP subscriber like me (VIP Singles series + White Label Series), remember to use the VIP discount code and get 10% off when checking out!
  2. This one is from HBO's Divorced season 1! And a vinyl appearance in Amazon's Marvelous Mrs. Maizel season 1 below.
  3. Try contacting Ernie at http://www.millionsofrecords.com. He has access to a surprisingly good amount of still sealed, punch-out cassette tapes and he's helped me get OOP/hard to find stuff before. I know this recommendation sounds random but he's acquired random tapes from 90's R.E.M., The Aquabats, David Byrne, and other acts from that time period so you never know.
  4. Those swaps will be canceled once they release the true story of how Beach House were a forgotten 1970s band from a small farm in rural England and how these recordings were actually protest songs against the King and Queen that were banned and confiscated and then thought to be lost in the Buckingham basement flood of 1992.
  5. If anyone wants any of these, I can do $5 each + flat $5 for shipping/PP fees. US only. PM me! Parlour: S/T Howard Hello- Election Year Behind Closed Doors: Exit Lines Bonnie Stillwatter: The Devil Is People
  6. Some labels will also be upfront and make bundles of their dead stock and tell you the 3-5 titles. Italians Do It Better have bundled some of their 12" EPs and singles and Medical Records will do discounted bundles and tell you what titles are in there. That said, maybe some people did get really good titles and they just aren't posting here. Also, apologies for complaining about really cheap records made by people who really care about the music. Just a disappointing 'mystery bundle' compared to other labels' bundles as a collector/customer.
  7. I bought like four Native Sound mystery boxes and the owner sent me new stuff every time and a lot of it was newer and great releases. Lauren Records and Topshelf Records did a mystery box too and I got great stuff from them. All three labels threw in free tapes and test presses and other cool stuff. This one sucked honestly. And so did the last 7" and 12" bundles that No Idea did. You can tell very clearly when a label is just dumping 3-5 specific titles on everyone and when they're doing a crazy Gideon level bundle with valuable items.
  8. I decided to go with the weird neon blob one. Clear vinyl isn't that appealing and it seemed more fun than black. I really hope it sounds OK/doesn't get cancelled for some reason and I don't regret selling the pic disc.
  9. Yeah. B-Room is probably their most boring/lackluster album, although there are some pretty good single tracks mixed in there. I recommend skimming more than 1-2 of their albums because other than Fate and Shame, Shame, they are all kind of different. You might connect with one side of them and not care for another.
  10. If you'd do $15 to cover a little more of the shipping and PayPal fees, I'd be down to ship these out. No worries, if not.
  11. Hats off to ETR. They found the one release that would get us discerning 2000s teens to fork over cash to them.
  12. ^ I got the Twistedshabazz special too. Same assortment of 5 records and/or 12" singles.
  13. As a huge fan of her grungier side and as a nameless, faceless bro on the internet, this is pretty much perfect CB for me. Really excited for the new record.
  14. I believe that is an estimate that is selected by the BandCamp seller adding a static/general "shipping and handling turnaround time" number in their settings rather than a real time estimate, as I've had other BandCamp sellers go past those dates and not ship things out. But, for reference, mine says estimated shipping is Feb 23 and estimated arrival is March 9.
  15. I'm a huge Dr. Dog fan, especially the stuff that Scott McMicken leads, so I did enjoy Psychedelic Swamp and Abandoned Mansion but they both felt like side project albums rather than a proper studio album of new Dr. Dog songs. Swamp was born from that live theater show they worked on (and revamping early demos) and you could sense it was an experiment outside of their proper discography and Mansion, from what I've read, purposefully tried to avoid over-refinement and keep things loose, which is interesting, but the songs ended up feeling like first drafts of songs that would eventually get scrapped or cut from a straight ahead Dr. Dog album, IMO. I really like the McMicken songs on there though, as some of them feel like tracks that you'd hear on one of his low run solo records on PIAPTK Records. Long story short, I like their last few albums too but I'm hoping for something meatier like anything they did up through Shame Shame and the 70% of Be the Void that I love.
  16. New Dr. Dog album Critical Equation comes out on 4/27. Already up for sale on Amazon for $19.98. The band/label pre-order goes up on Friday. First single is 'Listening In'. Promo blurb: I really dig the single and hope they dig in a little more deeper than they did for their last 3-4 albums. A moodier, more thoughtful Dr. Dog might be just what I needed.
  17. I remember when Pedestrian at Best was released as an early single and I thought she was going to burn the world down with a fuzzed out explosion of a record. It took me a while to warm up to what I initially viewed as 'cooler, more indie Sheryl Crow'. With time, I now dig the debut and prefer it to the early EPs so I'm curious where she goes with this one.
  18. It's always a gamble when 3 song 12" EPs are in play with these. I'll post what I get when it arrives on Saturday and hopefully they mixed up the pool of titles for all of us.
  19. I want to believe that my email reminded them to send all of our packages but you are more likely correct.
  20. New single gives me strong Dr. Dog/Floating Action vibes which I like. I'm not an Okkervil expert but I own a few of his records and this song sounds more warm/full than his normal stuff. I dig it.
  21. I emailed them on Thursday to ask if they had started shipping these yet and a few minutes later I got an email from Bandcamp that my order had shipped. It's always good to realize your email was the gentle nudge a label needs to send your order out. As far as corner bends or dings, I believe they mentioned these may have cosmetic damage, so that bend could have been there before it was packed.
