It was 1 test press and a note about the delays.

Just got a package today with a Mock Orange test press. Very cool.

I dunno. I almost might have preferred if the audience engaged in a bit of silly call-and-response with the movie when I watched Hereditary. At least, if it started after the "shocking" accident mid-way through the movie, when the film itself started devolving into a ridonkulous cheesy movie. The last half was begging to be fun and engaging in it's dumbness but everyone in the theater was still traumatized from the creepy, excellent first half of the movie, so we just sat there quietly and did not get to have the fun. When I watched A Quiet Place, the theater next door was playing Rampage, so, for the first 2-3 long silent sequences, I thought the faint rumbling and explosions coming from next door where the monsters in A Quiet Place causing carnage off in the distance. It wasn't until about halfway through the movie that I realized those were supposed to be cool, affecting, long silent stretches and the muffled destruction noises were not part of it.

Did anyone get the Tricot 7" with their recent packages?

I didn't get a test press this go round. But I did get the Queen of Jeans test press a few months ago.

Yeah. It seems like they have two different sounds they are playing with. I'm more into the grunge-y pop side than the slower, sparser, more vocally focused side highlighted on the EP and here.

I believe the neon green is the same variant as the yellow. Kind of a "is a tennis ball green or yellow?" kind of situation I think.

Pretty sure you have to just unlist everything and then relish when you're back. Or you can add some text to your Shipping Info and each item's description to say "All orders ship on or after 6/27" or whatever you're return date is. Then remove that text when you're back.

I was going in expecting a moody, unsettling artistic movie and I did not like Hereditary very much. It reminded a bit of the Witch, which I loved, but the experience was just not there for me for several reasons. That said, there were like 30 minutes of Hereditary that I loved (the first 15-20 of the movie and the first 10-15 of the climax/ramp up at the end). The rest of it, without giving spoilers, was not giving me the experience I wanted which it seems was the one you got. I'm glad you dug it.

Swiss Army, Places, and the new one are all fun for me to listen to now. The latter/in between records are kind of a drag including big parts of A Mark, IMO.

Rest a-My Chemistry was on the Italian pressing.

New song sounds like it could have fit on Our Love to Admire. Really dig it.

I've noticed a big increase in prices over the last 2-3 years for all R.E.M. vinyl. I don't know what happened exactly but I would go to Amoeba in Los Angeles and see R.E.M. bootlegs often for $10-20 (and I bought them all) and there were releases in that range on Discogs. Now, the handful of copies that are for sale are being priced very high (and mostly sitting there unpurchased). Not sure how much scarcity of supply, a reduction in selling space, and a general want for R.E.M. bootlegs plays into all of it but I imagine it's a nice mixture.

It's great. Got it with my AMR sub this week.

I can do without sweat marks on the back of LPs I buy online.

Black Album sounds like it might be a whole other level of bad. It's supposed to be dark and electronic and whatever Rivers' idea of what Pinkerton is. So, like a more dubstep or glitched out Feels Like Summer about going back to the campus. That said if it's dumb harmless fun like Jacked Up, I could maybe get into it.

That's awesome. The only copies I've seen online are the ones that were in Ireland and like Lithuania or something on Discogs. I should have bit the bullet and dropped $60 on one while they were there. How are the tracks? All acoustic yeah?

Damn. I got 44 of the ones pictured and would have some of the rest but early on I decided not to buy bootlegs that feature the same show or recordings in a different package. My white whale is the Drive picture disc with live acoustic recordings.

That's great news that these are all arriving soon. Now, I can focus the rest of my vinyl nerd energy on getting my April and May VIP packages from Joyful Noise.
