Newbury Comics had 25% off in store last weekend.
This album sounds very good, a few crackles here and there but nothing distracting. Also a bit of noise on the lead in groove on side 2. (Yes, I washed it)
Other than that, this sounds superb.  A couple examples: The drums on the Hendrix track sound like they are in the room and the Lovemongers' Zeppelin cover sounds eerily good.
I haven't had a chance to spin the bonus CD yet.
I grabbed a black copy as well. (seems more fitting with Chris's death)

Yea I understood the whole concept of expanding your palette and whatnot. I had a brief discussion with one of the curators before opting for the 3 month. It's just thati think there's a ton more artists to get exposed to. That's all...

Nothing wrong with funk at all! I got at least a little love for pretty much all genres but that is one where I am much more picky so the chance they choose something I would be cool with dropping $30 on is very slim. As long as the next record is Morby along with some funk the following month I am not going to go for another 3 month payment, they can wash down a warm glass of shut the hell up with any further clues as far as my interest goes at least.  Fever To Tell  would be a tremendous looking trophy though!

At least with Fiona even though I knew it would not be a heavy played record I can see myself playing it here and there and def. enjoying it. This Morby dude imo just has mediocrity written all over him from everything I have heard. He is not terrible but no way in hell worth $30 for any of his material.
 
I saw that ex-employee conversation on reddit and seen him mentioning there was a def jam release coming soon so I was hoping something hip hop but with this and then the July records first hint is something funky I am def. stepping away for a few months probably and hoping for something good again later in the year.

Yeah, Morby is a huge miss for me. This album sounds like a more boring version of Mac Demarco doing a Bob Dylan impression..
Think I'm gonna cancel for a bit unless some killer exclusives are announced/rumored for next month.

I think the last I heard he had some left but still had to flatten them.  He's definitely out of Electras though.

It was packed really well. The Maiden box itself has a sturdy cardboard box within it holding everything in place and then the whole thing is placed in a custom cardboard box, which is then in an Amazon box. I was quite impressed with how well it was packed to be honest. 

My Amazon  UK ones are all Parlophone, as is my copy of Book of Souls, not sure what Amazon US has but I'd assume Sanctuary. My Black Friday copy of Brave New World is Sanctuary (as it was a USA only release I believe). 

Picked up the Newbury Comics copy today. They wanted $37!!!, but they have 25% off all vinyl in store this weekend.
Haven't had a chance to play it yet, but hoping I can clean it and spin it tomorrow.  
It's a nice gatefold, paper sleeves, bonus CD, and download code. The vinyl is a cool white/blue marble. I'll try to get a pic or 2 tomorrow.
