This was on the doorstep along with the Beatles box set which I snagged off of Amazon for $184 shipped.  Listening to the Rutherford right now.  It's pretty awesome background music.  I dig it, but I can see where a lot of people might think it's total junk.  I feel sorry for those folks.  Great art project that was well executed. 

Can't wait to forget I ordered this and then have it show up. 

I sent them a message through their website and they have just replied...they still have copies.

There's a $100 bid on mine whoop whooop that's a pleasant surprise.

This pre-order has lasted longer than most of my relationships!

Yesterday I went back to the rec fair and asked him directly how many he'd pressed and while he was really super nice, he said he didn't know the exact number (which I highly doubt), but just "a few hundred."
I guess he's reticent to announce the number because he doesn't want that factor to drive the conversation about the project, which is understandable, since it's something he's very passionate about. I'm working all day today, but hope to open and play my copy tonight!

I think I am grabbing one for someone already but if I go with a buddy I will make him grab you one.

I attended the WFMU rec fair this evening and Rutherford was in the house, selling a box of these for $20 each. A friend of mine spoke to him and got the impression that the pressing was /1000, and that about 400 were sold so far. I picked up a copy, but didn't get into those details with him. I just told him I liked the project and that if I spotted any good deals on a first press white album, I'd let him know.

***WARNING*** I paid for an Appleseed Cast record from James over on DF a few months ago - and evidently some people on FB as well, and he did not ship/ deliver.

God bless you, man. I wanted the document records ones, but $30 each on color vs $40 for the set online made it an easy choice for me.

While I'm not a Rival Schools fan (and even if  I was 30$ for a 2xLP is a bit much) this statement is pretty ridiculous. This is a pretty "in demand" album for those that know it. Just because it's not Coheed or Brand New doesn't mean it isn't worth listening to or isn't something people want.
