It was another example of where discogs asking prices got a little crazy after it started getting harder to find ($55 is the cheapest right now with no US sellers at all). According to the stock they sold at least 600 of these overnight before it sold out (unless they just pulled it).

His prices on some of those things are well beyond discogs copies but tax is included. Would be nice if it was subtracted for US order like some other online shops do (assuming the laws haven't changed and we aren't required to pay it). But I do like to support him so I ended up just getting the limited live cd.

Tough decision here as I'm generally not a huge fan but I did really like the 2 songs he played on SNL last week. I'm probably going to regret not getting one of these but am i safe in assuming that there is a good chance that there will be a dozen variants of this by the time it gets released?

They splatter/silkscreen version of hinterkaifeck sold out yesterday but they just added another 35-40 copies. so if you want that one jump on it right at 10.

Giles presale is up now for Legrand members. So check your mail. I only grabbed the Hinterkaifeck as I have the other box and cdr but am mildly bummed about not being able to get the S/T with screenprinted cover. Just couldn't justify the membership costs this year. Deep discount and a bunch of other online stores show 2 back in stock now. Barnes & Noble had 1 in stock last night. Guessing we'll see all 3 readily available again soon.

I snagged one and was surprised they lasted as long as they did. And very happy he didn't jack the prices up as he easily could have. I'm guessing there will be 8000 up on ebay soon since the limit was 4. But a signed LP would have been sweet.

Borders also had volumes 2 and 3 in stock for a second last week. I grabbed both and then they were listed as out of stock again. Assumed someone must have just returned them. But hopefully more of these make it back out there. Amazon still has Vol 1 available to order as "temporarily out of stock". But we all know how hit & miss they are with lps. Worth a try though for anyone in need as they don't charge unless it ships.

What they need to do is start repressing some of her LPs like Saman and Without Sinking, and press the ones that never made it to vinyl. Hoping with all the hype around her now that this could actually happen.

Couldn't agree more. I'll admit to obsessively checking my wantlist throughout the day. But I have gotten a few insane deals that way (once got a 7" that would sell close to 1k for just $150 as there was no sales history value for the seller to go off of). But my wantlist emails always showed up in the middle of the night so anything good would be gone before I woke up. My only complaint is that i wish you could filter out certain sellers or set price ranges for what shows up on your wantlist. As there are always people charging 4x what something is worth cluttering up my list, and reposting those items daily.

Well now I'm confused. Rough Trade sent out an email saying that this is a 1LP and having it listed it as a 2LP was a mistake. And their UK store has a blue variant up limited to 1k. VMP also now has a red version showing as a 2LP. Rowland's bandcamp specifically says that it is 2 LP with the 4th side etched. For $30+ I hope it is a double LP. edit: i ordered the /1000 blue variant from Bleep for $27+ shipping. They have it listed as a 1LP. Rough Trade is sold out of their blue but Norman Records has some. Both have it listed as a 2LP but the catalog numbers are the same.

I'd be extra excited if they actually had Peter Christopherson's recordings on this. I appreciate the whole Watchmen univerise thing going on in the releases, but it's weird for them to put a real person's name on it if he wasn't actually involved.
