This sold out through their website, but it is up on rough trade for under $12 including shipping to the states. This almost makes me feel bad for recently spending $70 on the dvd case version of the Giles cd, but I am really really looking forward to this record getting pressed.

LakeShore Record exchange in Rochester NY has these if anyone is in the WNY area. I know some Buffalo folk are on here so it may be worth a trip. But they are trying to make $$ on them. I was bugging them on FB for 3 months and they contacted me the other day saying they got 1 in and that I could have it for $100. Thankfully i got one for retail prices so I declined. I've noticed that they keep putting more up on discogs for $150. But if you call them you may be able to get it cheaper (but still overpriced). I've been shopping at this store since the early 90's and am disappointed that they decided to take this route rather than just selling them at retail.

Are you aware of their wishlist policy? Assuming they still do it basically nothing good ever makes the shelves because if you request something with them the next time they get it in used they will hold it for you and contact you. I just threw them a long list of stuff i wanted and then like once a year i get a random phone call asking me if i still want it.

Got a black April in NM for $30 from Reckless Records in Chicago. That's the only good deal I've ever found on a OOP Koz release from a shop.

Underground got their copies unpacked today. Looked like they had 3. I was the one who bugged Matt to order them back in March. Were you able to get one of them? They said they had a bunch of requests. I get pissed at that shop for putting stuff up on discogs for crazy prices, ie the RHP box for $300, but they came through this time.

Who is the person here who works for Think Indie? Maybe he can pass this up the chain?

Official cancellation email received from Acoustic Sounds. Apparently some people got emails saying they had damaged copies and wanted to know if they still wanted them. So they did get a few.

Yeah that's probably the location where stock get delivered to. But hey at least we know they got some!

Yeah right around there. If my local store comes through it'll be $48. I see Amoeba just bumped the price of it on their website from $49 to $59 but it's apparently in store only.

SoundStageDirect is already flipping these on discog for $150. That's probably a more than fair price but really shitty of them to do. But this gives me hope for Bullmoose and even possibly (but almost certainly not) AcousticSounds.

I worked for the music department library at my university in the late 90s and we had a huge vinyl collection. Students couldn't just randomly go through them though, they needed to know what they wanted and we'd get it. So stuff didn't get stolen but those records ended up in pretty terrible shape. That's where I first got into records actually.

I want to know where the 2k orders are coming from. I spoke to a total of 8 decent indie records stores in 2 different states i spend time in that distribute from Think Indie and only 1 of them knew what i was talking about when I asked about this. i talked 2 others into supposedly ordering some. The other 5 probably ordered 100 each after realized who was in this box!

Yeah you'd think if we got our orders in before they even announced it we'd be good. If not this will be the first of many rare preorders that didn't work out for me through them.

I would think bullmoose should be pretty safe based off of my experiences with then coming through.

Did u use a debit card or something? Every preorder I've ever had from AS (including this one) just had a pre-authorization that disappeared after a day or two. Then they charged my card for real when it shipped.

Sometimes my local Ann Arbor stores really disappoint me. So 1 store I hit on RSD got 1 copy of this and chose to sell it for $120. They went out of their way to let me know that they'd have just the 1. I had planned on going to get it early but got Bullmoose notification the night before so I slept in a bit. That store rocks. But now I see another more popular store in town has put this box up on discogs for $400. That's not even sane considering there are a bunch for under $300 now. This store did the same thing for the Seneca 10's as well as a bunch of other items. I really cannot stand places that do that shit. If you are a store and get it from a distributor sell that shit in your store for retail prices. Don't TRIPLE the price! The saddest part is the cool store had basically no line at all that morning. While the other store had a line outside constantly until past 6PM.

If worse came to worst you could probably call your ISP and request a new IP address. Depending on who you get your service with that my happen with a simple router reboot.

That a pretty unfortunate response by them for those who have been waiting for Saul all day long since they put up the rest of what they announced. At least throw the Saul 7" up now while the server is fine. There are only what 50 for sale? It'll be gone in a few seconds and everyone can stop hitting their site. Why hold that back and sell everything else?

i'm on 3 different devices on 3 different networks and none of them have been able to get on at all...

Did anyone who ordered one from Bullmoose get it cancelled? I know they said they couldn't fulfill them all but i got my order in a week after they went live and got one. So i imagine everyone who placed an order at least on the first day before they removed it got one? Oh and a BIG THANK YOU to you itsgoodtobefree as it was you who posted when Bullmoose accidentally relisted them for a few minutes which is how i got mine!
