How dangerous is it to be a record in your collection?

I think we auto correct the term "make offers" to "I want ebay prices"

No, no, keep it up. Free bumps for you, entertainment for us...

I don't make offers, its lame. If you know how much things go for then price the damn thing. This make offer trend needs to die already.

Hey there all, Todd here from Clearview Records.
The Lillington box set should be all put together by Feb 22nd and shipped out to Interpunk the following week. The Sack LP will be limited to only 350 all on red vinyl and will ship at the same time as the Lillingtons box set..
Nobody should be dissapointed this these releases... The TBR project is just getting started. Working with Chris Shary on the the entire layout for the sleeves and box itself. All the records will be the stock covers (skull and cross bones) but not stock will be that the skull will be die cut out and the colored vinyl will show through the skull to match up with the text on the front cover. So say Warning Device will be black cover with yellow print and a yellow record showing through to make the color portion of the skull on the front sleeve..... it.s looking like it will be their 5 Normal LP.s, and the one bonus LP of all the comps, singles and the split singles. The bonus LP artwork will be all original artwork from Chris Shery. Keeping my fingers crossed that there will be a 7th LP to be included here. when I find out and we get all the tracks, we.ll see if we.re able to work with them..... Hope that little bit of information was helpful....
Cheers,
Todd

Converge may surpass Jack white Blunderbuss which sold 33, 000 copies on vinyl last year
Wait until mass media catches on and than realizes that everyone who bought that converge record owns 5 copies and they are all still sealed

monsterrod got a reaction from piaptk in Best/Worst Kickstarter Experiences
The Black Month Super Rainbow Kickstarter was handled magnificently. He raised WAY more than the goal, so at certain intervals beyond the original goal, he would add extra items free of charge. We wound up with some extra stickers and an additional free 12" record. He also was fastidious about the updates (the updates are VERY important, in my opinion) and got everything out right when he said he would. How he managed to get all the CDs, two albums (some autographed with a huge personalized drawing), t-shirts, posters, latex Halloween masks (some 75 of which were spray painted to make unique masks), etc. out by the deadline was amazing. And, like I said, he was excellent about keeping the backers up to date with the progress as well as any hiccups that occurred along the way.
So in short, meeting your deadline and keeping the backers updated are the two most important aspects of a successful Kickstarter, in my opinion.
As for the bad: I'm a backer of the Old Canes 7" series and after nothing to show for it two years after meeting the goal, and with only three (? three or four) updates over the course of those two years, I'd consider that a textbook example of how not to handle a Kickstarter.

monsterrod reacted to vardcore in New NO IDEA pressings! AGAINST ME! Picture Disc!
The record comes in a decent weight clear bag that is record sized. Also included is all the stuff that comes with the regular release, like a jacket, insert, and download code. -

Best: Nothing. Kickstarter for records sucks.
Worst: Every single one of these lazy ass projects. Pay for your own fucking record.

I might start calling people "Rudolph" in real life. I just like the way "Shut up. You're a fuckin' Rudolph" sounds.
