Who would’ve guessed that the crazy/ridiculous/gimmicky thing Glassjaw did with this vinyl release would be to sell it at a reasonable price.

I mean really, all us vinyl collectors often care about is having a rare and nice looking, quality sounding variant. As long as the new ones are different/distinguishable in some way from the 1st press its totally fine (although IMO it would have been cooler if the x500 was the only multi stripped tri-colour pressing done, but that's neither here nor there). As others have said, its only annoying when a limited press is repressed identically and essentially has its pressing quantity siginificantly increased after it has sold out. I think record companies/bands/labels should be totally free to make as much money as they are entitled to, after all its their hard work that has resulted in the production of a quality piece of music. I just reckon they should do it by releasing pressings that are distinct from one another in terms of appearance and sticking to advertised pressing quantities. In short, Saddle Creek has gone about this the right way imo, and this is how other labels should do it if they want to press more limited vinyl after a first run has sold out.

So true. I'd stopped buying his output after the first SKM/Jesu collaboration. His rambling is just not him and I doubt I will ever accept it, but I will wear holes in this repress for sure!

Fair guess.  But it was actually concluded from the fact you’ve been a member on this board longer than I have (which is admittedly a pretty fucking long time) and insist that my post – which brought up a girl’s mental history in a discussion about said girl and encouraged that we should maybe wait a bit longer for more factors or statements to be solidified – was the most upsetting thing you’ve encountered on the boards.  Yeah.  Pretty fucking sheltered.  That, or just another pasty white knight keyboard warrior atop a sparkly SJW steed, ready to vanquish anything and everything that isn’t 100% politically correct on the internet.  Your choice, I guess.
