It should be noted that, even if the posted policies have got you covered, individual post offices will sometimes try and pull some wild stuff in person. I had a branch that refused to scan my pre-paid labels at their desk and said it was USPS policy to only accept packages in the drop off bin, with no scan, which my other local office confirmed as false. I've also read about locations that will try to charge you for their extra care service if you write 'fragile' on the package and who have claimed music doesn't qualify for media mail. The OP's branch telling people that ALL International First Class services are capped at 16oz and Priority is necessary, knowingly or by accident, is pretty par for the course.

If they were someone's favorite band when all they had out was the self-titled, I'll give that person major props for foresight. Haha. Otherwise, every single album and EP since then has been a pretty tempting invitation to get aboard the old bandwagon, IMO.

Fun facts:
I used to chat with Forrest on AIM here and there when I was in high school in the early 2000s and ran a music blog.
He and I were both married at the same place in downtown LA.
His folks own a really nice and small winery and they nailed tamales on their first try at a recent lunch and wine event.

But just like a poster saying "raped my wallet" or whatever, these guys got called out. It's just that they are now being called out again long after they apologized and changed. They didn't dig their heels in and lash out. They listened, took it to heart, and stopped doing that shit.

Already filed a PayPal dispute. They didn't respond to any of my emails so screw it. That's what I get for trying to save $2 when I should've just got the record from Amoeba.

Listen to an Ovens/Tony Molina record then put on a Joyce Manor album and it will feel longer. Like dousing yourself with freezing hose water to make a cold pool feel warm.

Off topic but I am crossing my fingers for a second record of demos and live tracks for the inevitable New Adventures in Hi Fi reissue.

I can enjoy all of Blue, Pinkerton, Green, Maladroit, EWBAITE, and White. That's enough Weezer for me that I'm OK mostly ignoring everything else. 

I do wish post-OLTA that they would have kept down that path - they introduced some things there that were a bit more interesting and cinematic in that album IMO. But agreed, self-titled just wasn't executed well. Just a depressing listen, really, so I'm not surprised they pressed the 'restart' button.
