I haven’t seen them live since they toured the U.S. with deafheaven in 2012. It was a nice show, winterhalter kept a lit cigarette in his mouth like half the set and then Neige told the crowd it was winterhalter’s (27th I think?) birthday so the crowd sang him happy birthday and everyone there was super into it. 
 
i would love to see them also in a tiny club show like that again. 
 
edit: seeing these reactions from members about shipping delays I think I’ll just pick up a copy from my local store. 

I liked what I heard when I saw them live, so yeah let’s get gazed.

Song is cool, though I just really miss Jon Karel, he was an amazing drummer.

Yeah this sounds awesome, I gave  it a spin and listened wearing my headphones. Very little surface noise that I could tell and no pops. 
 
Also I have to say that it's very cool to hear something new in an album that you've listened to continuously for about 15 years. I was blown away when I heard some snare ghost notes I hadn't heard before. I had a big dumb grin on my face.  I'm so glad this project came to fruition.

well, we couldn't do a 1000 pressing, the rights holders have a minimum (which needs to be paid 100% up front or they won't release the rights to the pressing plant) so it would be a very large "need to fund" cost. The plus side is, once the deal of splitting the pressing was worked out, the turnaround time was about 2.5-3 months. so if we did a crowd funding thing with a set amount, if people's cards or whatever are charged, the turnaround would be more like a normal pre-order.   We won't hold up new material, have a new album before end of year and a double early next year. no worries there.

It's going to be a great day when this arrives. I'm glad I waited and didn't cancel my order.

Gave this a spin yesterday, it sounds great. 

Got mine in today, overall a pretty bare bones package. I wish it had that cool booklet the cd version had, but I know that would've driven the price up. I'll give it a spin tomorrow and hope it sounds rad.
 
I'm hopeful that if these do well and are received warmly then we can get the other albums repressed.
 

Got my copy the other day. This album is great, it sounds huge and "sorrow" is probably my favorite song so far.
 
Also I love the packaging on this record, though like the SUMAC love in shadow 2xlp it won't fit in outer sleeves. 
 
I really hope I can go see them live one day but bands really overlook Florida so often.

I swear they haven't toured in Fl. since like 2007, it's like they're doing it on purpose. Can I just experience these songs live again pls.
 
Still, news of a new album are always welcome. I think this is one of those bands that can do no wrong.

Now "Psalm of the city of the dead" will be an even more perfect album closer in my mind when I get to crank the volume way up when this arrives
