appreciate the heads up/reassurance for sure.  Glad I didn't give in to the nostalgia.

It's so compressed and the inner distortion is so bad...like AM radio bad.

edit: did not see the previous post from Uw0tm8. I echo those sentiments.

The package is really nice and seems worth it. But it really sounds bad. Like 128 kbps mp3s played through laptop speakers played through the phone bad. I have the 180g black and even it is unlistenable.

It did originally get released in 2017. They posted the preorder for the repress for 12/20/19, and in classic SRC style, postponed it until the final date of today. It never actually happened. 
The pink I linked is sold out now, by the way.

I absolutely love the tangible aspect of collecting. The packaging is worth as much to me as the music sometimes. My 400 records are more special than my 22,000 song iTunes library.

It defeinetly was, the lower prices back then were one of the reasons I got into the format; spend a few bucks more than a digital copy and get something tangible in return.

Genuine question: wasn’t vinyl cheap during the ‘90s and ‘00s when demand was at its lowest? I started collecting in ‘08 because prices seemed reasonable compared to CDs, which were increasing in price. Scouring around for out of print stuff, I was surprised to find how cheap the original releases were. I’d kill to have had access to a Hot Topic ten years ago, for example.
Maybe I’m just bitter because I’m in Canada and the average price of a new record is 40 bucks.

I mean, it wouldn't be a real VC thread if it didn't devolve into complaining within three pages. We're one under par at least!

The way you worded your question was not asking “Since the record are 180 gram and most likely to come shrink-wrapped, will you honor requests through your fulfillment company to have them shipped outside of the jacket?”

We are very communicative label and open to any and all feedback but that was not constructive criticism.
 
If you order a record and want it shipped differently then I’m sure we can figure something out!

Tbh, your entitlement is kinda bogus. These things take time and effort, and you’re just assuming that they can handle requests of that magnitude even during a pandemic when most businesses are functioning at lower capacity. If this company were to take specific requests from every individual that orders from them, the amount of problems that could arise are astronomical. Try to consider things like this when kicking and screaming certain services be rendered in order to prevent something that MIGHT happen.

I just liked three of your posts. I’ll live with the single LP with the other perks you mentioned! This sounds awesome!
