Shuga Records in Chicago had them. They were also in stock at Kachunk records in Annapolis.

Yes, there is a difference between the U.S. Blood red and the EU/UK red. The Euro version is a much brighter red.

10th Anniversary edition of Elsie available for pre-order tomorrow. This pressing will apparently include demo versions too:

You’re right - doing a google search for the eBay description for Kerplunk (I used "LK46LP - 763361904614" ) there are the exact same eBay listings from 2017 and 2018 (Here and here and a reddit post about it ), so it’s weird that they have this large unopened supply to sell at random times.

Part of it makes sense that there’s unopened stock because it was the most popular lookout release in the late 90s so there’s likely a very large pressing(s) over the course of years.

I’m skeptical like you all, but I couldn’t find any issues with the 39/smooth copy.  It sounded great!  I’ll update with the kerplunk that’s in transit if someone hasn’t done it before me.

Received my copy in the mail today, purchased when it was $25.  The matrix number and etching message, along with Berkeley address without barcode fits with

Ah ok. Thanks. This whole thing is just bizarre. As weird as it is for a major to do such a small pressing, it's almost as odd that additional copies don't see the light of day for 7 years and then show up at Walmart.

This was the only preorder thread I could find for this album. A new clear with black smoke indie exclusive variant is available for preorder at multiple stores (link to Criminal Records in Atlanta below).

I mean, you guys can make fun of this video all you want but have you actually tried the workout routine? After watching the video three times and following the moves, I'm already looking like the "after" photo for a Nutri-System commercial.

I'm beginning to wonder if my Laura Jane Grace LP pre-order from Polyvinyl will ever show up. Ordered it the day it went live in October, finally got a shipping notification on December 11.

Then nothing for almost a month. The package even fell off my USPS Informed Delivery due to no updates.

Then, magically, it got scanned again at the same facility in Champaign on January 9. Since then, it's been on tour, going to St. Louis, then Memphis, then Pittsburgh. Presumably Cleveland will be next, but it still has no official delivery date.

Someday I'll get to spin this record!

Uh-oh, we've reached the BACK IN MY DAY point of the thread. (oldmanyellsatcloud.gif)

This thread is older and dates back before the pandemic. Some noobs are having a real hard time waiting for the mail. Others (like me) are speaking more objectively. And a lot of us were here in April/May when records were taking up to 2 months to ship. I mean just quote some people if it bothers you. Most have been relatively understanding of the situation. A lot of the posts here actually have relevant information, although no doubt some people have been over the top complaining and yeah its LOLworthy.

I will say I mailordered CDs back in the day as well and you'd send the money and you were lucky if the item didn't show up via passenger pigeon (/sarcasm) but let's be real its not 1997 anymore and people don't go to the Post Office anymore to get money orders to then send to Dischord, Lookout, and No Idea. Clearly the PO is underfunded and much of the frustration has to do with that (which is a real issue btw) than people we think are slacking during a pandemic. Please read objectively.

Someone somewhere is still jamming to lost CDs that never showed up to me back in 2002.
