Why do people look at me like I just stabbed their grandmother when I tell them that I hate The Beatles? It's true. I've never liked them. I think their early catalog is the worst and their "experimental" period is boring. If a Beatles' song comes on the radio, I change the station. If I walk into a store and a Beatles' song is playing, I leave. I wouldn't dare date/marry a Beatles fan.

I didn't join this board to get "cool" points on some brilliant shit I might say. And trust me, I do say some golden shit. I joined to find out about releases, get some good deals on some records, and have some good conversation from time to time, which I hope you all joined for at least 1 of those 3 things.

So again, why do we have this option. Did they want people to know who the "cool" kids are? Did they want people to know who doesn't agree with ya? Did they want people to use it has a hurtful tactic? PROB-A-FUCKING-LY.

Probably, but it's one of those "I want to make this happen" threads, and these are a dime a dozen. Most of time it leads to nothing but heartache. *holds back tears*

I've been watching all the Paramore vinyl the past two weeks. I noticed Riot! Has been going for the most money-around 150 and up. Now this vinyl got pressed 8 years ago and there were only a few up from private sellers. Now all of the sudden, the price has completely plummeted to around $20 for a NEW riot vinyl, that got pressed in 2007. Three different shops have "more than 10 available" for the Riot vinyl. How is this probable and plausible that three different shops just happened to find a bunch of new copies of this vinyl that got pressed 8 years ago?

This is incorrect on all accounts. The 3 records were in proper cardboard mailer. After the buyer received the records he had claimed they were all bent & damaged. I gladly said if this is the case please return them to me & I will fully refund the entire cost of the records. He then went on to harass me by saying either refund him half the money or he was opening a claim. I found it odd that someone would want to keep damaged records. I called paypal about this situation & they said this very buyer has had a history of doing JUST THIS. after several additional harassing emails he finally filed a paypal claim. Paypal had asked him kindly to return all items to me. After 10 days of paypal emailing him to send the records he never did and paypal closed the case in my favor. 
 
BE WARY OF THIS SHITTY BUYER  - HE HAS PULLED THIS SCAM SEVERAL TIMES!!!!

Hey guys... I am asking for $540 because GoFundMe charges you money as well as some company they use to for each donation made. Thanks for the input.  I was just asking for a bit of help.  btw... all of those pictures are of Paul Box.  I do have a job as a teacher and my wife runs funkylittleshop on instagram.  Neither of our jobs is enough to be able to afford $500 right now.  I know its hard to believe, but we live pretty much paycheck to paycheck like 90% of America.  If you can't help, you can't help.

Do NOT trade with user Nee (http://boards.vinylcollective.com/user/19758-neee/). First off, I will write that the record he sent me came in great condition, but that he lied multiple times that the record had been shipped before it actually got shipped. He wouldn't respond to messages until I emailed him via his paypal email. He said he was going through some family stuff, which is COMPLETELY understandable and I get, but there was no reason to lie that something had been shipped. He even went as far as to say that he'd send the tracking number over even though he had never even gone to the post office. In the end, it took about three weeks for my record to come. I even asked him if he couldn't mail it to just return my money and we'd both just move on.
 
I said I wouldn't leave negative feedback if he left me positive, which he agreed to then never did after I gave him 2 weeks. Finally, I wrote to him that I'd be leaving NEUTRAL feedback and saying that despite the record coming in great shape, I would not trade with him again. He immediately responds saying that he doesn't live in front of his computer and that he'd leave it now. Then saw that I gave neutral, he wrote back "whatever," and left me neutral with a negative comment.
 
Again, record came in very good shape but I would not recommend buying from this user as his communication was poor and he straight up lied about things getting shipped.

Especially if you can find a good deal on them and flip it later.....like that Zelda 7" on Discogs....

I have wanted that for so long, but not willing to pay $300 on ebay.

I apologize we couldn't get these out by the release date, but after a few hiccups, all of the pieces are finally here. Orders will start shipping out tomorrow, with the goal to have all of the pledges out the door by Monday. Keep in mind I'm one guy here, so please be patient.
 
For those of you who slept on the campaign, there are only about 20 copies of this in the store. If you want it and can't make it to the tour, grab it quick. 

I know this has been discussed before — and if someone wants to link me to the thread that works — but was wondering what sleeves you guys and gals use to store your records on shelves? If you can leave links that'd be great!

I loved this entire season. Never understood the seemingly vehement internet hate for it. Michael Scott best describes how this finale made me feel: "It feels like somebody took my heart and dropped it into a bucket of boiling tears. And, at the same time, somebody else is hitting my soul in the crotch with a frozen sledgehammer. And then a third guy walks in and starts punching me in the grief bone." 

Also wrong use of record insert. I believe you mean a copy of the record cover.
