  1. I got my copy today. Man... I don't know what other pressings of this sounded like, but this sounds pretty bad.
  2. I bought a cheapie digital scale from Amazon a while ago. I'm anal and I've been using both, but they've always read about the same.
  3. Who buys records to digitize them? Almost everything you'd ever want is already digitized, easy, and cheap (if not free) to obtain. I bet this is well over $500.
  4. Used, box is ripped in a few spots, but whatever. $15 shipped and PPed.
  5. You don't use a center speaker for audio listening. You only use the right and left "front speakers". Like Tardcore said, you don't need a subwoofer. The only thing you want to make sure is that you're using a flat EQ.
  6. I'm sure it could play records now, it would just ruin them. They still make record players (Crosley, etc) that have the same issues.
  7. Got my new Denon DL-301 MKII. Unfortunately, I haven't had time to give it a good listen. My initial impressions were rich, full, and smooth.
  8. You have no ability to set the tracking force, which I would assume is very high, which will cause damage to the records.
  9. For nearly $500 in the used market, you can do a lot better than the Clearaudio Nano.
  10. Even the latter Klipsch aren't the Bentley of speakers. I'd imagine that would be more along the lines of Wilson or Magico speakers.
  11. Does it involve ordering a Denon DL-301 MKII cartridge? Because that's what I did.
  12. I found that my wife broke the cantilever off my Denon DL-103 on Christmas. So, I'm in the market for a new cartridge.
  13. Honestly, you're best off selling it and buying a table that uses a universal style cartridge.
  14. I've never looked at Greg Graffin or Bad Religion the same since that whole thing. Wasn't the girl 15 or something, too? So gross.
  15. Also, the EQ circuity degrades the signal path. You're unlikely to find any high end audio amplifiers that have EQ's.
  16. Sucks. I have a condition called hemifaical spasms, which is horrible in it's own right. I sometimes wonder if it isn't actually MS. I just noticed you're in WNY. Where about?
