If you knew anything, you wouldn't be asking for help with hi-fi on the Vinyl Collective.  Don't be a jerk off to me because I tried to help you.  Those settings affect the equalization of the phono preamp.  You may be able to tweak it to de-empathize those frequencies.  But fuck it, you know everything.

I went to one of the big old stores in the area at 6 am, was the 10th person in line, and I couldn't find this.  Super bummed, I drove to a smaller shop that hadn't opened yet that I knew had at least one copy.  I talked to the guy who was working the store and he said they got three and he would hold me for me.  He single handedly saved my RSD.  

I assume the guy actually wants to receive one.

I bought this for my stereo, but it turns out I dislike listening to vinyl on headphones, so there's no point in me keeping this.  It's got maybe 5 hours of use it.  You know the info; made in Merica, tube buffered, amazing build quality for the price.

How old is your cartridge/stylus?

I replaced all my 4AD reissues with the MoFi counterparts.  I'm very glad I did.  These sound much improved, not that the 4AD pressings sounded bad.  Worth the price, especially if you can get a discount at ccmusic.com or elusive disc or someone.

I'm going to be pissed if neither of my Amazon preorders ship.

I hope things work out.  This kind of stuff is heartbreaking.  People suck at grading records.  I bought a record off discogs recently and it was graded at VG+.  It was more like visually G, but after cleaning it, it plays pretty quiet, so I didn't complain. I don't fuck with anything less than VG+.

Scuffing from the sleeve rarely, if ever, affects the playability of the record. 
 
Most everyone grades visually.  Unless the record costs a nice chuck of change, you should assume that to be the case.  If that bothers you, find a sealed copy so you can bitch about the swirl marks from the sleeve.

I started collecting records in 1990.  I've got around a 1.3k, but I keep getting rid of things due to spacial limitations.

Some quick definitions:
 
Active Bi-Amping: Using two amps connected via a crossover to power each "half" of your bi-wirable speaker terminals.
Passive Bi-Amping:Using two amps to power each "half" of your bi-wirable speaker terminals.
Bi-Wiring: Using one amp wired to both halves of your bi-wirable speaker terminal.

I'm really surprised with all these major labels going through their back catalogs and reissuing things on vinyl that the Goo Goo Dolls catalog has gone overlooked.  I'd love to own "Super Star Carwash" and I'd probably buy "Boy Named Goo", too.  Damn you Warner Brothers.
