  1. Ordered one along with the sidekicks album. Hopefully one doesn't hold the other back too long. And this is a good record.
  2. I definately want a full length from these guys. The 7" is so good.
  3. oh haha, well, that is probably what I am referring to. Whatever, all movies should be shown in that! I think you have to use a special kind of camera/lens/film for that. Probably not so practical. But the documentary type stuff that is shot for it is pretty rad.
  4. Over here that bubble dome theatre is called OmniMax. Different from IMAX.
  5. Yeah I scoured the thing. I have been craving the ipod tunes just as much as the vinyl. Maybe the label can help me out.
  6. I could have sword Paper & Plastick vinyl is supposed to come with a download code. My Coffee Project 10" didn't have one and I can't seem to find anywhere it's written that it should have one. But I want these tunes for my ipod so very badly. Anybody know?
  7. Gotta say that Frank is a rad dude. I finally got my hands on this white whale.
  8. Why is this version of Censored Colors 1LP? Is it shorter? Fewer songs?
  9. I've had this, definitely a top notch beer. Belgian triples are probably my favourites.
  10. I don't buy the argument that "meat is murder" when an animal is killed for consumption. I think hunting in order to put a deer head on your wall could classify as murder, but humans killing an animal in order to eat it is no more murder than a lion killing a gazelle. I do think that meat consumption should be done in moderation and ethically, like pretty much all human activity. The fact that we understand our place in the food chain doesn't mean we're obligated to remove ourselves from it.
  11. Oh so tempting. I have wanted Terrifyer for so long, even though I don't often listen to this band.
  12. I've heard white and clear are the worst too. If it's not true it's a well-traveled rumour. I just hate white because it almost always looks really cheap and tacky. Every white record I own looks better in some other variant which I would happily trade for even if white is more limited and valuable.
  13. I think it's correct that analog was on its way out in the 90s. But I think it was in the mid to late 90s starting with pop albums not rock albums. I think a friend explained to me that the first purely digital record was the Ricky Martin one that had Living La Vida Loca. And it was all down hill from there. I'm not an expert or anything, but my rule of thumb is any rock vinyl before 97 or so (so anything from the height of 90s alternative) is going to sound fantastic. I have the Weezer album we're talking about, and Everclear "Sparkle and Fade" which sounds brilliant too.
  14. It could also be that 90s era recordings just sound great on vinyl. I think everything was recorded purely analog back then so 90s alternative will usually sound better than current stuff.
  15. Until a concrete release date is set speculation and supposition doesn't really matter. I just hope it happens.
  16. Flash is on solid/marbled yellow too. That's the one I got. I think it's out of 600 based on that one Jade Tree message board post that was circulating a while ago. Real question is when will Bury Me Standing finally come out.
  17. I wish more Knapsack stuff would get repressed. I want.
  18. I love 10" records too. One of my favourites is La Quiete "La Fine Non é La Fine" from Italy. And I'm anxiously awaiting my Coffee Project 10". Promise Ring's "Wood/Water" is a great double 10" with very nice packaging.
  19. Mine showed up today. I feel pretty happy to have gotten one online this way not having had access to any record store day specials. Sounds pretty good to me.
  20. I definitely want this LP and the acoustic record would be fantastic too, but this is insane. I want a record, not to join a cult.
  21. I have it on green but it would take a lot to part it from me.
  22. Mr. Big, definitely. I still laugh when I think about how huge that band always has been in Japan. I think they're the reason why it's funny to say something is big in Japan. I was there when Avril Lavigne broke out and was huge all over the world, and she was second on the Japan pop charts behind Mr. Big live in Tokyo farewell concert.
