  1. Really not looking forward to this. Edit: I also came here with intentions of quoting a movie quoting a tv show, so I'll leave you with this:
  2. In my opinion this was his best since Rushmore...I may like it better than Rushmore, but I'm a little biased because I also love all of Roald Dahl's stories. Everything about this movie was great.
  3. +1 if this is a Usual Suspects reference...well +1 assuming it is, freebie if not. "He'll flip ya, he'll flip ya for real"
  4. I saw them open for boysetsfire. It was a good time.
  5. chinos/jeans + shirt with a collar (or sometimes sweaters when its cold)
  6. I usually keep them in the jacket. Like others have said, I'll sometimes give them away if I don't need it. Sometimes they'll get thrown away, which I don't fret over.
  7. Once again, this is really hard for me to narrow down. I agree with Cursive's Staying Alive. A few more: Sparta - Assemble the Empire Thrice - Red Sky mewithoutYou - In a Sweater Poorly Knit The Snake The Cross The Crown - Back to the Helicopter Motion City Soundtrack - A-OK + Hold Me Down The Get Up Kids - I'll Catch You
  8. I feel like most of my favorite albums have incredible openers/closers, so this is hard to narrow down. I agree with a bunch listed so far. Some of my favorites on top of those: Thrice - Kill me Quickly (+Firebreather, +Broken Lungs, +Cold Cash) Sparta - Cut Your Ribbon Against Me! - TSR Just about every Strike Anywhere opener Chuck Ragan - The Boat Gunmoll - Less Than You Hoped For Motion City Soundtrack - Cambridge Damien Rice - 9 Crimes
  9. I think you're dead on, but it's irrelevant. If you're only pressing them as you get the cash, then you sell one at a time, individually. Not as a subscription that is not going to be fulfilled. I, for one, was waiting until they were all released to buy, simply to save on shipping...now looks like it was a good decision for bigger reasons than that.
  10. Good, quick seller. Obviously good prices. Get on it!
  11. Looks like it's still in stock at insound: http://www.insound.com/search/showrelease.jsp?from=10688&p=INS63722 though they lie sometimes. Also it's supposedly on clearance at Hot Topic if you can find one.
  12. Not to mention its playable. Nice work, Google
  13. Agreed. It seems simple enough. I don't know why this isn't standard on any DVR type box these days. I want to be able to watch recorded content on my computer and downloaded/ripped content on my TV.
  14. I was seriously just yesterday thinking of "that record room with the spiral staircase leading up to it". So awesome. Glad you posted a picture again.
  15. Last I heard, what record stores were in Jacksonville had closed. I could be missing something, but I don't think you'll have much luck. Gainesville has a few decent stores, about 1.5 hrs away, I think the Daytona Beach area has a store, but I've never been there. Orlando would probably be your best bet, but I think that's about a three hour drive.
  16. I hated Cabin Fever, too, but the entire movie is worth watching for the part where Dennis yells "Pancakes!" jumps off the porch and starts some martial arts routine. So great. Last time it was on syfy I recorded it just so I could fastforward to that part and watch it over and over. That said, I've enjoyed a few exorcism movies, but generally they are pretty bad. This poster has my interest though.
  17. I think this sounds fun. I always wanted them to bring a few horn players with them for the few songs that feature a horn section, but I'm sure it wasn't really practical. However, had I seen them with some random fifth member standing in the back getting no recognition whatsoever I would have been really bummed. Alkaline Trio had a fourth member the only time I saw them, standing in the shadows, playing the more complex guitar parts as far as I could tell. I've always kinda held a grudge on Matt Skiba for that... If you're going to bring extra members out on tour at least give them some credit.
  18. Yeah, I'm not enjoying it. Really the only album that's disappointed me this year so far. I haven't given up though! I'll still listen to it periodically throughout the summer to see if I catch on to it.
  19. Chocolate Iced Custard Filled But if I ever had access to a honey donut it would probably win
  20. I was really disappointed with Anthem also. I never hated it, it has some really good songs, it was just a letdown overall. And I never understood why they rerecorded "Look What Happened" one album after it was originally released, I still like the B&B version better. In With... was just completely unmemorable (is that a word?) to me. I bought it right when it came out, listened to it a few times, and haven't since. I guess I started listening to them less in general, so I was more than content with their earlier records.
  21. Seriously, that was exactly my first thought. It's like "Eh, this could be a good epic movie, but it was a better Mel Brooks movie!" I also agree with the gladiator comparison. While the story is obviously different, everything else just seems too similar from the preview. I'm sure I will watch (and enjoy) this when it's out to rent, but I'm not rushing to see it or anything.
  22. That's no good. I've never been disappointed by them, hopefully they were just in a slump around that time. I have noticed their guitar tones being off at times. With all the digital effects they've started using I think it's just very hit or miss.
  23. Parks and Rec is SO good this season. And my parents got us into Modern Family as well, it's really funny. I think I watch more TV now than any other time in my life...
  24. I see what you're saying; however, I would much rather see a release I'm interested in have a shot on kickstarter than never see the light of day. Regardless of who is trying to have it pressed.
