  1. Can you give us a more specific description of your problem than "it just doesn't sound good"?
  2. So usually I go to Amoeba and get everything I want because they get allotted tons of almost every release, but this year I'll be out of town for RSD. There's a participating store 15 min from where I'm staying but it's about 1/10 the size of Amoeba. Question for you guys that attend RSD at smaller stores: do you call before the day to make sure they are getting all the stuff you want? How far in advance? And also how does the ordering work? Do stores just get an allotment and that's it? Or do they have to pick and choose which releases they think will sell at their location and make an order?
  3. Packaging for both the RSD and May 5 releases will be identical to the original press. RSD version will come with a 12"x12" white sticker adhered to the front of the jacket that says "DEJA ENTENDU RSD 2015." This information is confirmed.
  4. Project update #6: SORRY FOR THE DELAY!!! WE HAVE THE VINYL! WE HAVE THE CDs! Just waiting on a couple more things and then we're ready to ship! THANK YOU SO SO much for being patient! Like us on Facebook to see more updates. ADAM & Colonies
  5. The pre-order page for that says: "Due to extreme demand, any orders placed after 1/21, 1PM PST will be for the second pressing. Your order will not ship until sometime in March, after the game has already been released." I'd guess as long as you got your order in before that, you should expect your copy to come in around release day. From the FAQs: "This set will ship out in Q1 2015, right before the game is released. It's our goal to get the vinyl shipped right alongside the launch." I hope that they really had everything in place to get the first press out on time, especially with RSD clogging up most pressing plants this time of year.
  6. Playing back through Hotline Miami in anticipation of the sequel. They announced the release date is March 10!!!!
  7. It says the vinyl reissues will be remastered right in the OP.
  8. Original press has a newsprint poster. Presumably, they were attempting to recreate that. Glad that more people are able to own this fantastic LP now!
  9. My body is ready. So are they re-releasing it all on vinyl up to Battle For The Sun?
  10. It's pretty clear this falls in the "RSD first" category, right? This will be widely available everywhere. Just available on vinyl a week before normal street date on RSD. I also think the /500 variant randomly inserted is fun. Not something I'll actively try to get, as I'm more concerned with the music on the discs than the color of said discs. But bonus if I do!
  11. Did not realize this was their first LP and ordered in my excitement. Had to cancel. Their pre-Home... material is not really my flavor.
  12. How were you pronouncing it? Correct way is "Igs-soar-ruh" right? I think it just means that track-by-track he used the version he liked better as his basis, keeping that version higher in the mix.
  13. Thank you very much for providing in lossless and for not doing any unnecessary post-processing.
  14. ^ Thanks! Great deal on that m b v LP. For what it's worth I've never minded non-Amazon deals in the Amazon thread. I kind of liked that it was becoming a catch-all for sub-$20 record deals.
  15. Fremer calls the Debut Carbon superior, but only based on the $179 version. http://www.analogplanet.com/content/u-turn%E2%80%99s-remarkable-179-orbit-turntable-crosley-killer I haven't heard the Orbit, but I love my Debut Carbon. I don't think you'll be disappointed. Couple that with the fact that there's a 7-week lead time on the Orbit and I think you've got your answer.
  16. If anyone ever finds a good condition copy of the UO-exclusive Twin Shadow - Confess LP, you just gotta know that I'll hook you up with some reimbursement if you grab it for me.
  17. I actually really like the new direction. Sounds like pop music, but good. I love two of the four songs he's released so far and liked the other two just fine. Hoping it's as strong as Confess. lol @ dat muscle shirt bundle tho.
  18. I second Etymotic. They invented insert earphones back in the 80s, so they've been around. I picked up the HF5, the model below their flagship on an Amazon warehouse deal for $70. They retail for about $130. I prefer more of an uncolored sound so the HF5s work great for me. My iPhone drives them just fine and I get an accurate flat, natural response out of them. Bass-lovers need not apply. They come with a variety of different-sized tips, so I was able to find a great fit that also almost makes these noise-cancelling.
