Joey Cape, Lagwagon’s singer/song-writer, had this to say about the making of the record:
"Hoss" was a transitional album for Lagwagon. We had extensive touring under our belts and for the first time we were comfortable exploring our sound. The band shared love for many styles of music. We were getting bored but transforming. As a songwriter, I wanted to diversify. The change was minor of course, but significant to the development of our signature and identity. 
 
"Hoss" was the first record we made with producer, Ryan Greene. We had a slightly bigger budget and Ryan pushed us harder than we were used to. He was tough and we needed that. We worked well together. We recorded at a studio owned by the great Max Norman called "Fat Planet.” Max had produced some early Rock and Metal albums that we loved. We were stoked but there were looming issues. 
 
The album was rough to get through. Lagwagon was on the verge of some big changes and setbacks. We lost two members of the band in the the years that followed. I appreciate that album and have fond memories of the time but, there are scars too. "

I met a girl at a motion city soundtrack concert six years ago and I'm still dating her because she's pretty damn cute and stuff. (Sorry just wanted to contribute).

With blink its like get it or pay upwards of $100 within a yr on ebay. Lol. Id rather pay $25 myself. Believe me you'll be more happy havin it when it goes up in value than not.

Upon 1st listen, several things....

1. I immediately got pimples and dyed blonde highlights again. 

2. My Highschool sweet heart still won't sleep with me. 

3. Sounds pretty damn good. Nostalgia wins again.

Anyways, it looks pretty decent. Let's clean it and listen. 

I've got negative feedback from this? This isn't right, I'm here to buy records (and pay) and this could easily put people off, I've got nothing to do with this guy.

I'm gonna have to say no to this Rambo. I was aware of this RSD release, but this thread made me aware of the repress. Am I going to buy it? No. But without this thread I wouldn;t have been able to tell some friends of mine about it. You may be a mod, but you don't speak for everybody. Excuse our ignorance.

This site is funny.  Even the moderators are douches.  I thought I was being nice, posting info that I figured some folks might find interesting.  If everyone on this forum already knows about every upcoming release, why does it even exist?  Or does it just exist so guys can make snarky comments about other vinyl enthusiasts?

I can't decide if I'm going to buy GH. My girl has been on my case lately about buying too much vinyl. She says ridiculous things like "we need to save money to buy a house." Someone needs to sort out their priorities….

I see but it was still a contradicting statement so you can understand my confusion. so basically you're saying that all hottopic records take long to ship to both your house and the local store. I wonder if that just a coincidence or if they don't like New Jersey either

It's still on topic, so shut up. I'm saying that IFFFFFF they do have it in store it's always before i get my copy when i order it online. And, you can't pre-order blink albums, if that was the case i would have done so by now. It was a general question and it's not clogging the thread. We are all having a normal conversation about the blink releases and shipping for the blink releases. Stop trying to cause unnecessary problems. 

I'm honestly confused here... you say your HT sucks and gets everything late in the second comment but in the first comment you say ordering online takes much longer than just picking it up from your local HT in the first comment.
 
This makes me assume that when you order online you're getting everything at least a week late... I GUARANTEE you if you just pre-order it online it will be on your doorstep within 3 days of the release date at the latest if not before the release date (depending on the album).
 
You're clogging up this thread with non sense and then told someone to shut up before HE gets this thread locked? I've seriously never been so confused..... the only thing that kind of makes sense is that you're from NJ

I'll break this down into 10 simple, E-Z to do steps.
 
1. Buy wood (0.75")
2. Buy nails/Gorilla Glue
3. Buy a wood saw. A hacksaw would work as well if you're crafty and can make precision cuts.
4. Cut 2 (front/back) pieces of wood into 13"x13"x0.75" pieces and set as aside. (make sure you leave a +/- .03 tolerance
5. Cut 3 (sides/bottom) piece of wood at 13"x7"x0.75" (also with a +/- 0.03 tolerance)
6. Glue together however you see fit, and borrow a nail gun from a friend and connect these pieces.
7. Borrow clamps and clamp together for 2 hours until Gorilla Glue sets, then scrape off the excess.
8. Put records into box.
9. Go to hobby lobby and steal a wood burning kit (they can't chase you/have no security cameras)
10. Etch "#Blonk182VC2014" logo into wood.
11. (Optional) Borrow sledge hammer and go to town on the box you just made.
 
If all else fails, call these guys - but if you do make sure you're using Binford tools.
