New single "New Shapes" f. Caroline Polachek & Christine and the Queens. Seems to only be available on Spotify right now and it doesn't seem to want to embed.

Edit: I guess it did embed!
QuoteCharli XCX has announced a new album, Crash, and a power-trio single with her “demonically talented” friends Christine and the Queens and Caroline Polachek. Listen to “New Shapes” below. Charli XCX has also lined up a giant slate of North American and European tour dates, which you can check out below. The album is out March 18, 2022.
Producers and collaborators on the record include Rina Sawayama, Oneohtrix Point Never, A. G. Cook, the 1975’s George Daniel, and Ariel Rechtshaid. In addition, Deaton Chris Anthony and Linus Wiklund produced “New Shapes.” Charli XCX “possessed and persuaded” the illustrious guest list using her “femme fatale powers and a multitude of dark spells and curses,” she noted in the press release. “They will all remain locked in my basement forever.”
“New Shapes” follows “Good Ones,” her September single, as well as the 2020 Christine and the Queens collaboration “Gone.” Charli XCX released How I’m Feeling Now the same year. In 2021, she’s hopped on tracks with Joel Corry and Jax Jones (“Out Out”), Elio (the “Charger” remix), the 1975 and No Rome (“Spinning”), and Bladee and Mechatok (“Drama” remix). She also launched a BBC Sounds podcast called Charli XCX’s Best Song Ever.
Of Crash, Charli noted in a press release: “This is the fifth and final album in my record deal….”

Is the Target version in stores already? I’ll need to swing by one to get something else & may as well pick it up.
Yeah I picked up a copy at my local Target on Saturday.

The Gold Explosion mockup looks like one of those A-side/B-side smashes, or something in that general style. Indie gold just looks solid.

Really need the Radiohead big brains in here to explain to me how they can make 43:57 and 49:56 playtimes sound good on single LPs. Someone please explain.
There's plenty of great sounding 44-minute records.
Kid A is definitely a bit on the long side, but it's also a little more like 47 minutes as the silence on either side of the hidden track on the CD is nearly 3 minutes.
I don't really think Radiohead of all bands is one to not QC the shit out of this to make sure it works.

Thanks! Is Luna reliable? Never ordered from there before?
I've ordered from them I think twice? Worked out great so far, no issues. I've added them to my post-Bull Moose rotation of places to look.

Rough Trade US has the red vinyl up for PO.
been sold out there for at least 45 minutes now.
Luna currently has it: https://shop.lunamusic.net/Radiohead-KID-A-MNESIA-INDIE-EXCLUSIVE-3LP-RE-p/191404116609.htm
I think it hasn't hit most places yet.

that DW variant is gone, which works out for me I guess because I really like that Newbury splatter so I don't have to think about it.

Let him heal.
Here's the thing: he clearly hasn't, and has no intention to. His behavior hasn't changed in 20 years and he shows no signs that he's likely to change.
A person who wants to heal, change, and grow will find a way to do it. A person who doesn't want to will find ways not to.
Also lol @ everyone but you being hyperbolic

Agreed. And I feel that it's perfectly fitting that they kept it in the "family" with Nate coming in as their bands have always been intertwined esp. Old Man Gloom.
Also Nate replaced Stephen in Converge when he left.

if I were to buy the webstore exclusive and the apparently 3 alt covers they're gonna do, I'd pay $60 in shipping for 4 records because they're all rolling out at different times.
I get the idea staggered rollouts but god damn if you're gonna do that, have a motherfucking media mail option. I'm buying literally none of their webstore stuff because of this shit.

Didn't Bull Moose issue a public apology, give everyone their job back, and provide backpay to employees who missed time?
That "apology" was weak at best and didn't address most of the problems employees cited. A number of the employees were visible on social media noting how unimpressed they were.
Bull Moose quite frankly has a long history of treating its employees like shit, and a half-assed apology that was a transparent attempt to conveniently put out a good story the day before RSD (a thing they were instrumental in starting and are instrumental in running) that many of the employees think was far from sincere, is not enough, imo. You can't just fuck up that badly, wave your hands, and call it good.

there's also apparently an indie exclusive gray vinyl. can't find a pic but I've seen it listed at two places.
the solid red/black marble appears to be the "standard" variant.
