you think the guys that operate ham radios or make things by carving them out of wood bitch about how expensive it is???

Well, if I would have waited, I could have snagged one for less than I grabbed one on eBay (though I got a great deal). But... I bought that copy with $$ selling stuff on eBay that I paid very little for. I'll just tell myself that I traded a purchase I made 4 years ago for $40 for this boxset. I'll be okay with that.
 
I really wish Cake would have been more transparent with this entire release. If they would have said "900 copies for RSD and then a bunch via our website" the frenzy/flippers would have been reduced.

This is limited to 899 not 900. An employee and Vintage Vinyl was talking to someone and mentioned one of the copies they got was wrecked so they sent it back. Haha.

Got the email also I almost pulled the trigger but opted against it. I'm trying to reduce my 7in purchases of albums I already have.

If you preorder, you get the lowest price between when you order and the ship date. Takes the hard work out of trying to get the cheapest price

You're right, they can absolutely stand their own ground and don't need me defending them.
They didn't ask me too, but I wanted to because as I've said...they've done nothing but right by me.
I was raised to back up people who treat you well and have good ethics, Dutch country style.
So I will continue to have the back for anyone who deserves to have my support.

it's really not a big deal. i don't think SRC needs you defending them. there's plenty of people here who will throw their money at $80 reissues. 
 
i do in-fact have problems with how they do some things and they run a message board where people can discuss those things. 
 
i'm way more likely to defend the little guy or allow new people to understand that this is a normal thing to happen in these parts.

i haven't ordered much from you, but when i have. EVERY release was delayed and announced at the last minute.

going into every thread that i post in and calling me a troll makes you a troll, not the other way around. 

so you guys will wait til the absolute last second to let people (who have already given money) know that the records are delayed? Since every record ever gets delayed have you thought about announcing release dates with those delays in mind? or waiting until after test presses are done to start preorders?

It's much more accurate than DeadFormat because users provide sources for the information (whereas DF has a lot of what people "think" it is)
 
How is it unorganized for a collection? You can create folders, sort, add/remove easily, export to excel, etc. DF is a list.
 
Maybe some the artists that you are adding to your discogs collection have really shitty entries by users who don't understand how to properly add information to the database. I know I've spent countless hours fixing crap entries so they make sense and are correct. Seems like every time I go into New Found Glory's or Blink 182's pages there are numerous fixes needed
