  1. Love Bazan, love Now, Now - this is a great little cover. Snagged a copy of the split.
  2. Just received this in the mail today and it looks and sounds great. The record is a nice color for the cover art, and the jacket arrived in surprisingly good shape for the thin cardboard packaging. Edit: Two small (but loud) pops halfway through the second track
  3. Apologies for any repeats, really just a personal wishlist ATM: Blithe Field - Beautiful Wave '74 I Can Make A Mess Like Nobody's Business - S/T The Fall of Troy - Ghostship Demos
  4. Just excited to get my name into the pre-order, but at 10k copies I'm sure I'll have the opportunity to buy one from them as well.
  5. Pre-ordered with haste, and I'm a fan of the color combo. I'd much rather buy this direct from Asthmatic Kitty than through a site like SSD, but psyched nonetheless.
  6. Thanks, I snagged a copy from someone on the boards earlier this week. Updating post now.
  7. Bump, would love to own this
  8. Sounds like the definition of sibilance e to me, and it is definitely not something you have to just "live with". First I would examine the stylus and make sure it is still contacting the record in a proper vertical position. Assuming all is good, it's time to take that trusty protractor out and realign the cartridge - if you don't have one I'd suggest getting one otherwise you'll have this trial and error phase every time you change out the cart/stylus. Also, make sure to take the anti-skate adjustment off while aligning or you'll continue to have skating parties https://www.amazon.com/Turntable-Phonograph-Cartridge-Alignment-Protractor/dp/B079ZBLJ4M/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?ie=UTF8&qid=1530014148&sr=8-1-spons&keywords=turntable+protractor&psc=1
  9. Grabbed a bone white real fast, I was a big fan of both Albatross and Dealer so I have high hopes. I'm disappointed that I'll be out of town when they come through my neck of the Northeast, but I've seen these guys twice before and they put on an incredible show - see them if you have the chance.
  10. I wasn't aware of that, I appreciate the heads up!
  11. I am beyond excited to see this is getting a vinyl pressing - over the years I've come to like this album as much if not more than Illinoise.
  12. This album got a lot of play from me in college, I'll be glad to own it - especially with scary things like this on the interwebs. https://www.amazon.com/Moldy-Peaches-Vinyl/dp/B00005A02X
  13. Delta Sleep released their first album in three years, Ghost City. For those unfamiliar, it's UK math-rock in the best way. Pressing Info 700 x black 200 x Pink / Orange / White segments (UK webstore exclusive) 200 x White / Pink / Orange swirl (US webstore exclusive) 200 x Clear with Pink / Orange Splatter (To Lose La Track exclusive) US Pre-order http://deltasleep.awesomedistro.com/products/619660-delta-sleep-ghost-city-lp-cd UK Pre-order http://www.bsmrocks.com/products/619661-delta-sleep-ghost-city-lp-cd-preorder First single released https://deltasleep.bandcamp.com/track/el-pastor
  14. I've got OG and 2012 pressings of most, but that (red) remastered Hard to Find a Friend is still tempting.
  15. I have been collecting a little less active lately, but managed to snag a handful of choice records over the past couple months: - Jesu - Silver EP (clear) - Frank Ocean - Channel Orange (sealed, unsure of color) On the way/Pre-orders: - This Town Needs Guns - S/T - Ovlov - Tru - Sweet Valley - Eternal Champ I + II - Floral - EP I + II - Chillhop Essentials - Springtime 2018
  16. Pre-ordered with haste, the single sold me - glad to see Topshelf getting in on this one.
  17. New single out today, a little more refined but still with that sweet dirty guitar wash and I'm into it. https://ovlov.bandcamp.com/track/spright
  18. Oh hell yes, ordered real quick! $40 was a tough pill to swallow though for 8 songs, but who knows when we'll see this again.
  19. Bump - prices lowered, last bump so shoot me an offer if you don't like a price
  20. It sounds like distortion due to a misaligned cartridge to me - perhaps try getting out the protractor and aligning it once more (be sure to get it as exact as possible). If you don't have experience doing this you may want to ask for some help at a local shop; misaligned cartridges can do serious damage to records and the cartridge itself. If that doesn't do the trick you can check to make sure the tonearm wiring is securely attached to the cartridge.
